Admiral Sail Wave 38

The first model of a series signed by Philippe Briand that will reach 60 m.

A large beam in the center of the boat and a large stern. These are the most evident elements that you can find in a new generation racing yacht. These elements also distinguish the project of Wave 38, a sailing yacht signed by Philippe Briand for the Admiral shipyard which is part of the Italian Sea Group. The new series, which follows the debut of Admiral in the “sailing” sector, (as it happened with the Silent 76 and of which Wave 38 is the first model), will also include vessels up to 60 meters entirely constructed in aluminium.  In this way, the shipyard will be able to capitalise on its expertise and its vast experience in the processing of this material accumulated in the construction of large motor yachts.

This experience matches that of Philippe Briand who has enthusiastically welcomed Admiral’s proposal. “When we learned the needs of Admiral Sail for the design of a new sailing yacht, we were pleasantly surprised and immediately motivated by the project. First of all, I admire entrepreneurs who are dedicated to the construction of sailing yachts as the technical challenges are more demanding than the engine, and the business in general is far more complex“.  The Group intends to achieve a yacht that can function as an excellent platform for the holiday with family and friends.”
Among the special features of the exterior design, the large stern platform is equipped with a bathroom with direct access to the sea and connected with the cabin and the cockpit, protected by a hard top that, can be completely closed thus becoming a veranda overlooking the sea due to the retractable side windows.
