The Reichel/Pugh 90’ Race Cruiser
… is the latest offering from the Southern Wind Shipyard. With naval architecture by the legendary American duo and interiors by Nauta, it is the yard’s first full-custom yacht, sporting a sophisticated carbon-fibre and Corecell hull, a very light GT of 48 tons and a titanium rig.
As a result, it combines the joys of a bluewater cruiser with star-quality performances in Mediterranean and Caribbean regattas.
It boasts an LOA of 27.5 metres, this-generation lines and appendages, and a lifting keel (3.8 to 5.8-metre draft), in addition to ultra-comfortable interiors for cruising and coastal racing complete with forward owner’s cabin. The Reichel/Pugh 90’ Cruiser Race can also tackle the Atlantic with a short-handed crew thanks to a clever deck plan and controls.
