Tankoa the boutique shipyard

Warm and modern. These will be the characteristics of the interiors for the first copy of Tankoa S501, which will be delivered to its owner in April 2017. The interiors carry the signature of Francesco Paszkowski Design Studio in collaboration with Margherita Casprini.

This is an important step for Tankoa which, according to Michel Karsenti from Yacht-Ology and the CEO of Euro Contenti, constitutes a recognition of the values from what is truly a “boutique” shipyard that demonstrates an ability to work with its customers and not just for its customers. Yacht-Ology is a company that already commissioned the construction for Tankoa S693 (A 60 meters signed by Francesco Paszowski).

The construction of this first 50 meters will start in early April and the yacht will be built entirely of light aluminum alloy 5083. The briefing that led to the new S501 Tankoa was very ambitious and precise. The French owner has asked the yard and the yacht designers for a yacht with extremely personal, timeless, balanced and fluid design. In addition, a setting that would ensure maximum privacy of the owner and guests with paths and separate spaces for guests and crew. What cannot go unnoticed is the request to have services and equipment that are commonly found in much larger yachts on a yacht of 50 meters (within 500 tons);  keeping a constant eye contact with the sea.
