Surprise at Flibs where AB Yachts Maiora had invited the international press for the presentation of a new project. In fact, three projects were presented: the AB95 in two different versions and the Exuma 36.
The new AB95
Roy Capasso, Head of Sales AB Yachts , unveiled the new AB95.
It is a model that continues the innovative path started with the AB110, protagonist at the recent European boat shows, incorporating the technical and technological contents of the yard’s 30 years of experience, reliability, engineering solutions, propulsion system, and construction materials, with the new styling line designed by Architect Marco Casamonti / Archea Associati.
Designed in two versions
The AB95 is designed in two versions: the first is in continuity with the styling line of its big sister, combining elegant, spacious living areas with the brand’s own sporty technology to create a perfect blend of comfort and adventure. It is still a sporty craft that excels in quietness and absence of vibrations, but which further enhances the concepts of liveability, comfort and extreme well-being. The exterior and interior spaces are luxurious and particularly airy, with a high level of comfort. One example is the flybridge, where the reversed glass window that characterises the boat’s profile provides an even larger and more liveable space: a huge belvedere en plein air over the sea, reached from the stern cockpit by two external carbon stairs.
The second version, the AB95 S, on the other hand, is intended for those owners seeking pure adrenaline, the unforgettable thrill of speed on the water, always in safety and style. Sinuous and sporty lines, an opening roof top integrated into the dynamic profile, together with an advanced propulsion system that provides extremely high performance – in terms of speed, manoeuvrability, efficiency, comfort – and innovative functional solutions make this model a true ‘racing car’ of the seas. To experience life at sea like never before.
Naturally, both models share those distinctive features of the brand’s DNA, such as easy manoeuvrability, efficient navigation, especially at high cruising speeds, absence of vibrations and total safety.
Not only that, exteriors and interiors are conceived in smooth continuity: liveable spaces, full of charm, where you can socialise like in a loft. Or where you can enjoy a ride on the sea without noticing the speed. Spaces that can be customised on the basis of the Owners’ needs, to allow them to create the yacht that reflects their own lifestyle on board and their own, unique way of living as close as possible to the sea and nature, going beyond all stereotypes and unleashing their creativity. Free, therefore, to discover more in less time, but also to go anywhere – thanks to the reduced draft of 1.30 m – and to maintain a high level of comfort.
Maiora presents the Exuma 36
But Maiora also wanted to impress. When those present thought the speech was over, Daniele Caronna, Head of Sales Maiora, surprised everyone by revealing some details of the latest project of the fleet, the new Exuma 36, which bears the signature of Quartostile for the exterior and Acube Design for the interior.
This is an interesting evolution of the award-winning model, which redefines the concept of versatility by combining the volumes, luxury and comfort of traditional flybridges with the adventurous character of an explorer. An innovative design concept that responds to the market demand for a distinctive and original way of experiencing the sea, whether for relaxing cruises or adventurous explorations.
With an unexpected speed for its segment, reaching up to 35 knots in maximum comfort and safety, the new Maiora 36 Exuma is truly unique. In addition, the very limited draft of 1.45 m gives the pleasure of being able to explore and sail from the beautiful Mediterranean beaches to the waters of the Caribbean, in absolute freedom and in harmony with the surrounding nature.
