Antiparos is once again hosting the Cyclades Cup, which returns to its waters from June 10 to 13, 2026, for its third edition. The island, which has always been a haven for those seeking a more authentic and tranquil side of the Cyclades, will serve as the setting for one of the most exclusive and sought-after regattas on the international calendar.
In recent years, the Cyclades Cup has established itself as an event that brings together a select group of boat owners united by a shared vision of sailing, camaraderie, and style. Organized in collaboration with the Yacht Club of Greece With participation limited to 25 yachts, the regatta has become a highly coveted invitational event, attracting many of the same top competitors year after year.
Cyclades Cup – A regatta driven by the Meltemi
Sailing remains at the heart of the event. The Meltemi, with its almost ritualistic regularity, sets the pace of each day: the boats glide between Antiparos and Paros, skimming past uninhabited islets and crossing stretches of water that shift from emerald green to deep blue. It is against this backdrop that the Cyclades Cup has earned its reputation for “sublime sailing,” as boat owners often describe it.
A diverse fleet is competing on the water. The iconic INOUI, with its lime green hull and pink accents, will sail alongside more understated but equally famous yachts, such as the award-winning MARI-CHA III 43 meters. Wally will have a strong presence, with the new wallywind110 GALMA, nor some of Vitters’ most acclaimed projects, including LA BELLE. The arrival of boats such as TAWERA, who has traveled all the way from New Zealand, is a testament to the event’s international scope.

Cyclades Cup – The Slow Pace of the Evening
Upon returning to port, the excitement of the race gives way to a social program designed to reflect the archipelago’s identity. The evenings unfold at a leisurely pace, featuring informal gatherings and events designed to highlight the region’s unique character.
The opening will feature a sunset event organized in collaboration with SEASE, the Italian brand founded by Giacomo and Franco Loro Piana, and AMAALA Residences. A toast with Whispering Angel will kick off the week.
On the second evening, guests will be taken to a private olive grove just outside the center of Antiparos for an intimate dinner organized in collaboration with IYC – The International Yacht Company and Jetcraft. An intimate, almost suspended atmosphere, where the setting becomes an integral part of the experience.
The Pantaenius SUP Raceis back, having won over crews and spectators alike last year: an informal yet fiercely contested challenge, accompanied by a beach barbecue and cheering from boat owners and guests.
One of the most eagerly anticipated highlights remains the private tour of the archaeological site of Despotiko, made possible thanks to a collaboration with the Cycladic Identity Initiative. The area, which is normally closed to the public, is open exclusively to participants, who can explore it under the guidance of the archaeologist in charge of the excavations.
The final day will be sponsored by Platinum Partner UBS, which will also feature at the closing ceremony and the traditional BBQ in the schoolyard on the island. An evening shared with the local community, featuring long communal tables, Greek hospitality, and La Scola served late into the night: a finale that captures the spirit of the Cyclades Cup.
An event shaped by shipowners
The regatta was conceived by Ilia Rigas, owner of ALMYRA II and judge for the World Superyacht Awards. His vision continues to shape the event’s identity: a balance between competition, personal connections, and a genuine connection to the local area.
