Among the most anticipated new releases at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival is undoubtedly this one: the brand-new Anvera 200 S-Racing from Anvera. Built entirely in Misano Adriatico, this new inflatable is a 20-meter carbon-fiber giant (19.97 m to be exact) with 4,400 CV of power delivered by Top System Surface TT85 drives.
There are three configurations available: Standard, GT, and Racing. The flagship of the family—which includes several models such asthe Anvera 58 andthe Anvera 48—was designed by Marco Casali (Too Design) for the exterior styling and Brunello Acampora (Victory Design) for the naval architecture and waterlines.
Full-carbon construction
In keeping with the tradition of this Romagna-based shipyard, the Anvera 200 S-Racing’s structure is made entirely of infusion-molded carbon fiber. This engineering choice is not merely a stylistic feature but a fundamental requirement for achieving performance standards of this caliber. Starting with the optimized power-to-weight ratio. The structural lightness of carbon fiber allows for a low displacement while still accommodating large-displacement engines and systems. Furthermore, the material ensures extraordinary torsional rigidity of the hull. The result? Maximum safety, stability, and a smooth, precise ride over the waves even at speeds exceeding 60–70 knots. The reduced submerged weight also translates to lower hydrodynamic drag, leading to greater range and lower fuel consumption.
Obviously, with surface propellers
The true hallmark of the S-Racing version is its propulsion system, developed to deliver extreme performance without sacrificing control while underway. The engine room houses two MAN V12 engines, each rated at 2,200 HP, for a total output of 4,400 cavalli. The Top System Surface TT85 transmission, combined with state-of-the-art surface propellers, minimizes drag from the submerged appendages, transforming all the power of the engines into extremely efficient hydrodynamic thrust.
Pending sea trials to confirm its performance, the shipyard has announced some truly impressive figures: the Anvera 200 S-Racing promises a cruising speed of between 45 and 55 knots and a top speed exceeding 70 knots, making it a strong contender among the world’s fastest 20-meter yachts.
A simply enormous beach club
While its performance is that of a pure racer, the livability on deck and below deck is that of a true maxi-yacht. As with the other models in the range, the distinctive feature of the Anvera 200 remains its unmistakable cockpit with fold-down side terraces. When open, the boat’s beam increases from 5.96 meters to a full 6.85 meters, creating a massive beach club area at water level spanning over 30 square meters.
Immediately aft, the main cockpit is arranged around spacious modular sun decks and an outdoor dining area served by a fully equipped outdoor kitchen. At the bow, meanwhile, there is a second sheltered sun deck and an elegant lounge area, designed to offer maximum comfort and privacy while at anchor or in port.
The helm station, constructed entirely of exposed carbon fiber, reflects the boat’s sporty character. It is equipped with anatomically designed, racing-inspired seats and a modern, integrated digital instrument panel that allows for constant monitoring of all key navigation parameters, including attitude and trim.
The interior of the Anvera 200
Below deck, the Anvera 200 reveals surprisingly spacious interiors. The owner can choose a layout with up to three cabins, all equipped with en-suite bathrooms, in addition to the crew cabin. The use of fine leathers, natural woods, and high-tech details creates a refined, climate-controlled, and perfectly soundproofed environment.
The master suite, located in the bow, takes full advantage of the interior height and beam width, featuring a king-size bed, built-in custom cabinetry, and a private en-suite bathroom with a separate shower stall.
A cozy lounge, elegantly furnished with high-quality materials (leather, select woods, and exposed carbon fiber accents), serves as a secluded relaxation area, ideal for dining or unwinding in an air-conditioned setting.
