Arca SGR – Oris claimed victory in the 57th edition of the Barcolana, crossing the finish line first in 1 hour, 43 minutes, and 42 seconds.

On a day with light winds, with 1,865 boats on the starting line and over 15,000 people at sea, the 100-foot maxi maintained the lead throughout the race, asserting its dominance and confirming itself as the undisputed star of the classic event in the Gulf of Trieste.

The triumph comes after weeks of preparation and an exciting start to the season for the Trieste-based team, which had already fielded two boats at the Bernetti Trophy on October 5: the 100-foot Arca SGR and Marta 07, formerly Morning Glory, for one last important test ahead of the Barcolana.

With this victory, the 100-foot maxi of the Fast and Furio Sailing Team, sponsored by Swiss watch brand Oris, once again confirms its position as the absolute frontrunner in the world’s largest sailing regatta.

A Partnership Built on Performance and Sustainability
Oris Italy announced the beginning of its collaboration with the Fast and Furio Sailing Team at the same time as it was named Official Timekeeper of the 2025 Barcolana — a partnership uniting two organizations that share the same vision: striving for top-level performance while respecting the environment.

The Maxi 100 Arca SGR, the team’s flagship and a symbol of circular economy, is the first vessel in the maritime sector worldwide to obtain EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) certification. This extraordinary achievement proves that innovation and sustainability can sail in the same direction — values that perfectly align with Oris’s “Change for the Better” philosophy.

Charting the Course to Victory
The partnership announcement coincided with the 54th Bernetti Trophy, where the Fast and Furio Sailing Team fielded two boats: the legendary Arca SGR and the 86-foot Marta 07, making its official debut in the Fast and Furio Young project, dedicated to young sailors and students from the Nautical Institute of Trieste.

“Two boats, one soul, and a shared course toward the future: that’s what Oris and Fast and Furio have in common, inspiring positive and sustainable change,” the team stated.

Leadership and Vision
The victory at Barcolana 57 is not just a sporting success but also a powerful message of innovation, sustainability, and team spirit. Arca SGR – Oris thus consolidates its leadership in the iconic regatta of the Gulf of Trieste and proudly carries the name of Italian sailing onto the world stage.
