Presented in Portofino the first Baglietto T52 designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design left the yard only a couple of days ago, so much so that it still has to be christened. It is also the first model to be equipped with hybrid propulsion. (Here all our posts about Baglietto)
Baglietto T52: a milestone
“This is a much-awaited moment for us – comments Baglietto CCO Fabio Ermetto – Being the first model in the T52 line to mount a hybrid propulsion, hull No. 10238 marks a crucial step – also in terms of research and development – in our shipyard’s path towards sustainable yachting – a path we have been pursuing with firm determination”.
A simple and extraordinary design
Characterised by huge windows that almost entirely cover the superstructure, the T52 is a hull with clean lines. The interiors are extremely nautical and made with few materials. Unusual is the wide-plank oak parquet flooring that blends perfectly with the bulkheads made partly of teak and partly of leather. Large, cleverly placed mirrors widen the corridors and give depth to the rooms. This first example, at the express request of the owner, has a different layout from the default one. The large saloon has in fact been reduced to make room for the crew mess, positioned amidships next to the galley and behind the master cabin. The dining area has been moved to the upper deck, a spacious room that can be kept completely open or partially closed thanks to the large windows that pack in on both sides. The foredeck and sun deck are small masterpieces of design and accommodate large relaxation areas. Beautiful and clever is the retractable ladder that connects the bow of the sun deck with the upper deck.
During the presentation, Diego Michele Deprati, CEO of Baglietto explained: “There could be no better place than the Marina di Portofino to present our first hybrid-propulsion 52 m yacht, marking the first step towards delivering on our pledge for a more responsible and sustainable yachting
The event was supported by several internationally renowned partners that share Baglietto’s values and passion: Antinori, Bentley Milano, Eleventy, FPArt, Frette, Il Bisonte, Leone Limentani, Miller Harris, and Taurus, who made this yacht even more precious and contributed to making this world première a truly special and exclusive occasion.
