Bellini Astor 68: the 20‑meter yacht built around multilayer architecture and seamless connection with the sea

The Bellini Astor 68 marks a significant step in the evolution of the Clusane d’Iseo shipyard. As the second model launched in 2026, it enters the market after the first unit was sold even before its official unveiling – a sign of the growing interest surrounding the young Bellini Yacht range. The world premiere is scheduled for the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.

The project is shaped by a design thinking approach built around three principles: connection, flexibility and transparency. These are not slogans but functional criteria that guided the spatial layout. The yacht’s most distinctive feature is its 37‑square‑meter beach area positioned less than one meter above the water. This configuration “reduces almost to zero the perceived distance between those on board and the sea itself,” turning the stern into a direct interface with the surrounding environment.

The collaboration with Andrés Reisinger

The multilayer architecture continues with a raised saloon and forward social areas designed to maintain visual continuity between interior and exterior. The aim is to avoid rigid compartmentalization and create a unified perception of the yacht, consistent with the declared design philosophy.

A notable element of the Astor 68’s presentation is the collaboration with digital artist Andrés Reisinger, who developed a visual narrative ahead of the yacht’s physical debut.Tthe artist interpreted the project as “a physical destination and an emotional representation of living the sea,” blending technology and imagination. His contribution does not alter the yacht’s design but frames it within a broader dialogue between contemporary visual culture and nautical innovation.

The philosophy of Bellini Yacht

The Astor 68 strengthens the trajectory of Bellini Yacht, founded in 2023 and focused on models up to 24 meters. Following the Astor 36 and Astor 58, the new 68‑footer consolidates a stylistic line based on functionality, spatial rationality and a minimalism shaped through collaborations with Brunello Acampora and Norberto Ferretti.

The decision to pair the launch with an artist featured in institutions such as the Moco Museum, Palazzo Strozzi and the Vitra Design Museum reflects the group’s intention to connect the yacht with a wider cultural narrative. Beyond communication strategy, it signals a clear positioning: yachts as contemporary design objects, not merely technical vessels.
