TT460 Shell Edition
A designer reinterpretation for the Invictus hull, which will be one of the stars of Boot Düsseldorf.
At Boot Düsseldorf 2026, one of the stars of the show will be the Invictus TT460 Shell Edition, a masterful reinterpretation that marks a significant step forward in the stylistic evolution of the Aschenez shipyard. The flagship, designed by Christian Grande, has been completely revamped thanks to the intervention of architect Fabio Rotella and the bespoke work of Atelier Invictus, the brand’s creative laboratory.The result is a project that reinterprets the concept of luxury in a naturalistic key, choosing a different path from the growing trend of replicating the stylistic features of domestic living on board. For Rotella, who is designing a nautical project for the first time, the boat is not a floating home, but a living organism, a means of experiencing nature. Hence the idea of the “Shell Edition”: the yacht as a shell capable of welcoming and protecting, maintaining a continuous dialogue with the environment made up of light, matter, and sensations. The Milanese designer, with a background ranging from industry to fashion, has reinterpreted the interiors with an essential and refined aesthetic, free of ostentation.
A work that makes use of sustainable materials, organic textures, and lighting systems designed to generate widespread well-being. The goal is to restore sailing to its original meaning: harmony with oneself and with the marine landscape. Among the most significant innovations is the unprecedented use of recycled structural honeycomb panels for the interior walls and the entire below-deck layout. This solution reduces weight by 20%, resulting in lower fuel consumption and a lighter environmental footprint. The work of Atelier Invictus, led by Paolo Avellone, integrates and amplifies the designer’s vision, transforming the TT460 into a testing ground for materials, colors, and finishes. The interiors reveal a world of fluid shapes and natural tones, while the exterior gains new finishes and details inspired by the elements of the landscape, maintaining the strong Invictus identity. The workshop, created to respond to the customized requests of owners, confirms its role as a nerve center of research, capable of translating aesthetic and functional desires into tailor-made solutions. With the Shell Edition, Invictus Yacht presents not only a new design, but a manifesto: luxury as awareness, as a balanced relationship with the environment, as innovation that does not compromise on elegance. A message that finds its perfect interpreter in the TT460, which the public will be able to discover live at Boot Düsseldorf 2026, in Hall 5 / Stand C20, together with other models: TT420, GT320, and GT280.
