Bluegame, the Italian brand of the Sanlorenzo Group, has chosen the Cannes Yachting Festival as the stage for the world premiere of the BGF45, the first model in its new BGF range. From September 9 to 14, 2025, the French showcase hosted the debut of this revolutionary multihull, the result of a journey that combines technological innovation, sustainability, and the unconventional DNA that has always defined the brand.

Following the success of the BGM line, Bluegame now takes another step forward with the BGF range, a natural evolution in the multihull segment. The expertise gained with the BGH-HSV—the world’s first hydrogen-powered chase boat with foils, capable of reaching 50 knots at zero emissions and a star of the 37th America’s Cup—has been transformed into a tangible project for leisure yachting. The result is a range conceived for visionary owners seeking something truly unique, unlike anything else on the market.

The development of the BGF45 was strongly supported by two renowned hydrodynamics experts, Mario Caponnetto and Francis Hueber, who had already collaborated with Bluegame on the hydrogen project. Together, they refined the hull design, pushing performance to new heights and redefining the boundaries of yacht design. The outcome is a multihull that combines advanced engineering, versatility, and performance with the bold spirit that sets Bluegame apart.

At the heart of the BGF45 is a foil-assisted system placed between the hulls, which significantly reduces drag while increasing speed, stability, and fuel efficiency by over 40%. Powered by two Volvo Penta IPS engines, the yacht easily exceeds 30 knots while ensuring superior navigation comfort and smooth handling. Key technology partners such as Volvo, Garmin, and Siemens played a central role in making this balance of high performance and low environmental impact possible.

The project bears the signature of Luca Santella and Zuccon International Project, who maximized the spacious volumes of the multihull platform. The interiors feature two cabins and a versatile third space, while the exterior boasts generous sunbathing areas and an elegant beach area that highlight the open-air lifestyle onboard.

Founded in 2004 by Luca Santella and part of the Sanlorenzo Group since 2018, Bluegame continues to strengthen its role as an innovator in the international yachting scene. With the BGF45, the brand opens a new frontier, offering a yacht that blends Italian design, sustainability, and cutting-edge technology, setting a new benchmark for the future of luxury multihulls.
