Cannes Yachting Festival Preview

From September 11 to 16, Cannes will host the 41 Cannes Yachting Festival. More than 600 boats will be on display and 120 of them are worldwide premiere. Here are some of them

Anvera

Anvera 48, presented last May at Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous in worldwide premiere will debut in Cannes.

ANVERA48

With the Anvera 48, LG-YACHT has once again applied its innovative philosophy to create a yacht entirely built in carbon fibre, extremely light crossover boat featuring trendy, unparalleled design shapes and details and embodying the excellence of Made in Italy production. Carbon is increasingly used instead of traditional fibreglass because of its enhanced characteristics: greater resistance and lightness (which means particularly low consumption); efficiency; speed; reduced waste, CO2 and pollution; as well as the possibility to obtain innovative design shapes. The result, in a nutshell, is a high-performance and environmentally-friendly product.14.50 metres long and up to 4.91 metres wide, Anvera 48is characterised by two special uprights around the deckhouse, the helm station, and the cockpit roofing, and by the air vent integrated in the single lightweight pillar supporting the superstructure The Anvera 48is fully customisable with top-quality and stylish finishes.

Arcadia
Just a little over a year since its presentation, Arcadia Yachts is proud to announce that the new A105 will make its official debut at Cannes
Arcadia Yachts’ core vision in the development of its models has always been to start with the Owner and the use they intend to make of the boat, and then craft the latter to give form and substance to the client’s ideas and wishes.

Arcadia_100ft_3d_Exterior_Rendering_009_RJ-3-1

There is no doubt that this idea underpins the success of the A105 project developed by the yard in collaboration with the Milan-based Hot Lab studio. A design so flexible that it can be adapted to the very diverse requests from the Owner.
The A105’s chiselled masculine lines are one of the yard’s trademarks but here have been reinterpreted to raise the communal guest and al fresco areas – the very heart and soul of every Arcadia – to new heights. The result is that contact with nature and the surrounding world is intensified yet also respected thanks to large apertures which reduce the need for air-conditioning, solar panels integrated into the superstructure, and the extensive use of cutting-edge highly efficient thermal insulating glass.
Creating a sense of conviviality and chilled-out relaxation aboard remains one of Arcadia’s core values. The aft deck aboard the A105 can comfortably seat up to 10 people for a formal dinner, while the lounge area has space for a further 12 guests. The latter can also convert to a further dining area offering the Owner the possibility to having more than 20 people aboard to dine at once.

HL_Arcadia_100ft_3d_Exterior_Rendering_009_RJ-3-7

This same principle was applied to the concept for the upper deck as a whole. Here both interior and exterior spaces are cleverly mixed to create a further spectacular relaxation area. Offering just under 30 square metres of space, the convertible sky lounge can be used 365 days a year and opens aft towards the sun lounge which, at 35 square metres, doesn’t just provide Owners with a further convivial area with direct sea contact but also shelters the whole of the aft deck.
To satisfy any and all of Owners’ requirements, Arcadia has also created a variety of different interior layout options at the design stage that play with the inside-outdoor ethic. Currently over 50 combinations on the design have been developed to showcase just how flexible this craft is and to help clients select the solutions that best mirror their own wishes.

Austin Parker
Austin Parker will have three boats on display at Cannes (and at Genova later): the 44 Sedan with IPS and a new hull; the 48 Sundeck and the 64 Fly.

44 Sedan
The new 44 Sedan has new hull line and Volvo Penta IP engine. The interior has also been refreshed, with adjustments to the layout of the VIP cabin in the bows.

AP 44-BFM_6690SThe boat has a hull almost 14 metres long with beam of 4.21 metres; inside are two very roomy double cabins, two generously fitted bathrooms with shower enclosure, and plenty of space for wardrobes and drawers. On the flybridge, behind the steering position, is a large dinette area with bench seats and dining table. The corner galley, on the cockpit side of the saloon, features a full set of appliances and a large working area for more convenient meal preparation.A folding plate glass door leads to the cockpit, which has a large sundeck that converts into a bench seat with central table for open-air lunches. A “traditional” gate in the stern gives easy access to the bathing platform, which can be hydraulic on request to facilitate entering and exiting the sea. The range is excellent thanks to a 1600 litre fuel tank, and there is also a plentiful fresh water reserve of 450 l. Performance is outstanding with a cruising speed of 30 Kn and top speed of 37 Kn.

48 Sundeck
Unmistakable lines accentuate the modern concept of the yacht, especially as concerns the interior ttings, and immediately bring to mind the consolidated white-blue color scheme that Fulvio De Simoni has used since the rst model launched in 2008.

AP_48_SUNDECK_DSC_4790

Wide side gangways facilitate the external passage from the stern to the sundeck in the bows; stairs from the teak cockpit lead to the sundeck complete with sunbeds and sofas. The large, panoramic saloon is fully accessible and in continuity with a comfortable cockpit; an opening in the stern deck provides easy access to the swim platform where the service tender is located. The sleeping accommodations provide three double cabins and two heads; the master cabin is located at the centre of the vessel and is a true suite tted with every comfort. The yacht is equipped with two 550HP Cummins QSB 6.7 engines which provide high performance levels, low fuel consumption, excellent maneuverability, extra low noise level and no vibration.

64 Fly
The 64 Fly (19.40 metres in overall length by 6.10 in width, with a displacement of 43 tonnes), is a craft of the highest quality, comfortable and liveable, with fine accessories and finishes and thrilling levels of performance.

SONY DSC

The spacious cockpit is served by a large bathing platform and the hangar for the tender. The greatest attention to detail has been paid to the flying bridge which, in addition to the helm, is also home to sofas, a sun deck and bar furniture. The interiors are characterised by a warm, charming style. The owner’s cabin (which has an en-suite bathroom with shower), as well as the other two for guests (with en-suite toilet), are elegant and have leather and wood finishes. The crew accommodation is in the stern. Thanks to the combination of two MAN 1200 HP engines and the perfect lines of the hull, the performance levels of the project indicate 28 kn cruising 32 kn maximum, with low fuel consumption, considering the size of the craf

Azimut Yacht
Azimut Yachts will feature 3 new models that will be making their world debut at Cannes: Azimut S6, Azimut Grande 25 Metri and Azimut Grande 32 Metri. Accompanying the three new models will be 15 more yachts from all the brand’s five Collections (Atlantis, Magellano, S, Flybridge and Grande), ranging from the smallest Azimut Atlantis 34, to the shipyard’s flagship, the Azimut Grande 35 Metri, which, since its launch, has already sold 10 units and been awarded a remarkable 6 international prizes.

Azimut S6 is a pure coupé with sporty DNA that looks set to leave its mark in the history of yacht world development, offering unprecedented levels of efficiency obtained with the help of the three IPS propulsion units and Carbon Tech.

Azimut S6_external View

The exteriors are designed by Stefano Righini, who on this model has further accentuated the glazed surfaces in the hull, a distinctive feature of the S generation, giving the yacht an immediately recognisable profile. The defining characteristics of the interiors by Francesco Guida, for whom this is his second project with the shipyard, are a modern and discrete sense of elegance and a welcoming atmosphere bathed in warm colourways.

The Grande Collection, the most recently introduced collection of Azimut superyachts, has been joined by two new models.
The first, the Azimut Grande 25 Metri, has a Carbon Tech superstructure, roll-bar, hard top and transom and represents the perfect blend of charm and technology.

Azimut Grande 25 Metri

For the interiors, designer Achille Salvagni offers a non-conventional take on the living area by abandoning the typical distinction between sofa and dining area, and creating in their place one big space on the Main Deck, which can be transformed into a dining area when needed by raising a recessed table. This solution highlights the decidedly informal and original personality of this model. Two propulsion solutions are available, one with a pair of 1,650 hp Man engines and the other with two 1,800 hp Man units, for a top speed of 29 knots and a cruising speed of 26 knots.
The Azimut Grande 32 Metri has big, airy, interior and exterior spaces. Outdoors, designer Stefano Righini provides guests not only with a big beach club in the stern, but also a Fly Deck offering a remarkable 70 sq m of space split into three distinct areas: a dining area, a central living space, and finally a relaxation area in the bow with a hydromassage tub, which can become a second lounge area at the owner’s request.

Azimut Grande 32 Metri

The airiness of the outside spaces is complemented by the luminosity of the interiors designed by Achille Salvagni. The full-beam owner’s suite, for example, is flooded with light through full-height glazed surfaces on both sides. Propulsion is provided by two 2,200 mhp MTU engines, driving the yacht to a top speed of 26.5 knots.

Baglietto
Baglietto will attend the Cannes Yachting Festival with a new worldwide premiere: The Baglietto 48m T-Line, the latest construction in steel and aluminum with a displacement hull. The Baglietto 48m has sleek interiors by Francesco Paszkowski Design, and Baglietto Interior Design planned the layout of the interiors, combining modernity and luxury.

Baglietto Cannes

This 48m sistership of MY Andiamo includes many upgraded spaces. The vessel boasts over 350sqm (3767 sqft) of luxurious space, with room for many new features. The exterior spaces are vast, with the sundeck alone composed of 140sqm (1506 sqft) of al fresco space, including dining space, a sunbathing area, and an infinity pool. The contemporary and elegant interiors, designed by the Baglietto Interior Design, include four guest cabins on the lower deck, in addition to the master suite on the main deck. The clear colors of the Italian national walnut, perfectly combined with touches of gold and bronze, create a sophisticated and warm atmosphere. Floor to ceiling windows provide excellent natural light and views on the main deck and the skylounge. New on this yacht, the Beach Club, which offers 47sqm of space to relax with a steam shower, bar and an additional area perfect for a gym, massage or spa/relaxation space. The Beach Club faces the sea, ideal for those tranquil moments on the water.

Benetti
Benetti will bring three models from the Class product line: Delfino 95 ‘M/Y “Uriamir”,a 29-metre displacement yacht, M/Y “Botti”, a 35.5-metre Mediterraneo 116’that will appear for her world premiere, and M/Y ” Lejos3“, a 38-metre Fast 125′model equipped with the AZP C65 propulsion system, developed in collaboration with Rolls-Royce.

“Uriamir”is the second unit of the Delfino 95′, the Benetti fleet’s entry level yacht. A 29-metre displacement yacht with a fibreglass hull and carbon fibre superstructure, exteriors were designed by Giorgio M. Cassetta, while interiors were developed in accordance with the owner’s specific requests, alternating light and dark materials such as marble and tay and tanganica woods, with polished and matt surfaces also bringing stylish contrast.

Benetti_MY Uriamir_Delfino 95

On the Lower Deck are four guest cabins, while the bow area is reserved for the crew. The Main Deck, enhanced by a beautifully laid wooden floor, is where the owner’s cabin is found. Benefitting from two separate wardrobes and a double bathroom, this spacious cabin leads to the main saloon with its large windows on the beam. The Upper Deck features a helm station, while a swimming pool with panoramic views is found in the bow area. The exceptionally large Sun Deck is a real novelty for yachts of this size and features two sofas and a second external pilot station, ideal for enjoying every moment of the cruise.

The third unit of the Mediterraneo 116′ models, “Botti”, a 35.5 meter yacht, will also be available to view.

Benetti MY Botti_Mediterraneo 116

With a fibreglass displacement hull and carbon fibre superstructure, M/Y “Botti’s” exterior was created by Giorgio M. Cassetta, while the interior was realized by Benetti’s Interior Style Department in collaboration with the Radyca studio.

“Lejos3“,is a 38-metre superyacht and the fourth unit of the Fast 125′. A model that boasts a propulsion system built in collaboration with Rolls-Royce, it is equipped with Azipull Carbon 65 (AZP C65). This is a highly efficient, reliable and light system that, thanks to the widespread use of composite materials, is able to guarantee excellent performance in terms of weight reduction and manoeuvrability.

Benetti_MY Lejos3_Fast 125

Among the technical innovations, the yacht also features the revolutionary D2P Displacement to Planing® hull, designed by Pierluigi Ausonio in collaboration with the Azimut Benetti  Research and Development Center. Thanks to the wave piercerbow, the yacht can operate in either displacement mode, ensuring reduced consumption at low speeds, or in planing mode at higher speeds, delivering outstanding comfort across the board. This remarkable efficiency is the reason the yacht is able to achieve an outstanding range of 3,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.

Besenzoni

During the Cannes Yachting Festival, Besenzoni will launch its new brand Unica – unique yacht accessories, featuring completely custom and exclusive products. To better focus on the expanding market for bespoke super yachts, Besenzoni has come up with Unica, a special range of unique accessories which will enable us to meet all of our customers’ requirements, from the design to the creation of tailor-made products, and to provide valuable support for on-board assembly and ongoing after-sales service worldwide.

cdm gatto

“We literally started from a drawing made on a restaurant’s table,” Vasco Buonpensiere, co-founder and Sales Director at cdm recalls. “M/Y Gatto is the result of a great teamwork,” he says “and the project kept on growing on a steady pace thanks to the commitment and experience of the Owner Representative, Richard Kaye, the fast responses given by Hydro Tec in terms of design, and the usual intense work of the whole cdm team. The result is simply unique: there is nothing similar on the market, 250 GT, fully custom, so over engineered and built in Acciaio!”  In the words of the Owner Representative, Richard Kaye: “It has been really refreshing working with a team eager to listen and implement our suggestions every time we asked for it. Thanks to this approach, we succeeded in transferring on M/Y Gatto our previous experiences of many custom yachts built everywhere in the world. The team at cdm is really up to its reputation: skilled, motivated and always aiming to the best for the yacht and her Owner.”

CCN
CCN will be presenting w world premières at the forthcoming Cannes Yachting Show: 30 m Francesca and 27 m Freedom.
Francesca is the sixth craft in CCN’s successful line of CCN 102’ Flyingsport yachts and was delivered to an American Owner. This 31 m boat in composite material can boast very slender lines and a skilful, balanced mix of style and functionality, combining the characteristics of a flying bridge yacht with the sporty features and high speed typical of large open yachts.

CCN Flyingsport 102

The metallic light-champagne colour shade endows the hull with elegance and a strong personality – the same that can be found in the interiors designed by Tommaso Spadolini. Across the yacht, the furniture and furnishings combine classical style and ‘bolder’ solutions, overlaying and alternating different materials, like sycamore and dark wood, glass and satin metal. Other materials also include a wide range of leathers, supplied by Marine Leather, obtained through different procedures (braided, smooth, pleated) and coming in different colour shades.

“Freedom”is a 27-m fully-custom yacht purchased by fashion designer Roberto Cavalli, who personally designed her in cooperation with his friend and designer Tommaso Spadolini.

CCN Fuoriserie

This is a fast motor yacht featuring a LOA of 27 meters and an aluminium hull and superstructure, capable of reaching a maximum speed of 40 knots thanks to 3 water-jet engines. Both the exterior profile and the interior layout reflect the strong personality of the Owner, who asked for a yacht enhancing maximum contact with the sea while also ensuring the utmost privacy. The lower deck features 2 guest cabins and comfortable crew quarters, and the fly includes a private area with pilot seat. The tender is stored forward.

Contest Yachts

Contest Yachts, will display the latest launched Contest 67CS performance bluewater cruiser.

The  Contest 67CS is perhaps the most impressive new yacht under 80ft in production today acknowledging.

Contest67cs, Medemblik, The Netherlands

The version on show in Cannes has a four-cabin arrangement with vast master suite aft, two guest double cabins forward of the mast, and a two-berth crew cabin in the bow. Interior styling is by Wetzels Brown and in the case of the showboat incorporates pale leather cushioned panelling and soft furnishings into a modern teak interior with light oak floors.Naval architecture is by celebrated design house judel/vrolijk who worked also on the evolution of house style for the external appearance, keeping the Contest 67CS immediately identifiable within the brand while advancing modernity with more vertical ends, raised topsides and altered sheerline. Bucking the at times questionable trend for twin rudders, the favoured, safe deep-ocean practice of single, balanced skeg-hung rudder is retained, and the Contest 67CS has been designed and suitably ballasted for sailing flatter and faster, and in more comfort. The Carbon rig option here is Axxon, with North 3Di sails for the cutter rig with high-spec hydraulic furlers and electric winches.

Ferretti Group

The Cannes Yachting Festival will be the stage for the presentation of the five première by Ferretti Group.

Ferretti Yachts 670

The 670 is the first Ferretti Yachts vessel with exterior design created in partnership with architect Filippo Salvetti, while the interiors are exclusively the work of the Group’s in-house architects and designers.

Ferretti Yachts 670

Characterised by excellent optimisation of the space, both interior and exterior, in its 67 feet (20.24 metres) the 670 features solutions typical of much larger vessels. These include the large flybridge with its area of 25 square metres that makes it one of the most competitive yachts in its category, and the bow that features a living space that can be converted into a spacious relaxation area, a true innovation in terms of liveability and comfort. Below decks, the master suite is situated in the centre of the yacht and includes a large study that serves as an antechamber. The symbol of an evolution of the brand under the banner of tradition, Ferretti Yachts 670 maintains the sleek lines and the clean forms of the latest models, with an excellent updated design of the spaces, for a perfect mix of socialisation and independence.

Custom Line 120
Custom Line 120’ is the first Custom Line to bear the signature of Francesco Paszkowski Design. This unique yacht reimagines and combines stylistic features and elements of automotive design and residential architecture, adding in-depth research aimed at enhancing forms and volumes through furnishing choices in line with the very latest trends of contemporary living.

Custom Line 120'

Of note is the innovative glass door that gives access to the lounge; in addition to the usual slide opening of the two glass panels, it also has a tilting mechanism providing a 45° inclination. Thanks to this engineering marvel, developed in conjunction with an aeronautic company, guests can enjoy a single liveable space between cockpit and lounge. The particularly generous spaces are a constant in all the areas, as confirmed by the forward and aft garages designed for water toys and tenders. In addition, Custom Line 120’ is the first yacht that makes it possible to directly connect the flybridge to the forward zone by means of the side passageways with access from the monkey bridge as well, creating a single large deck of 100 square metres.

Custom Line Navetta 42
Designed by Studio Zuccon, the new Custom Line’s flagship is the first vessel in the history of the brand to exceed 300 GT. The new Navetta 42 proposes a layout of the completely customisable interior spaces that best showcases the ship’s generous volumes.

The result is better organisation of on-board flows, total privacy for the owner and his guests, and great freedom of movement for the captain and crew. A vast suite on the main deck is available to the owner, while the layout of the lower deck provides 4 vip cabins for guests. The stern area is entirely dedicated to leisure, conceived as a large beach club at sea level, and its entertainment function is enhanced by the new launching and retrieval system for tenders and water toys from the garage that opens from the side into the sea.

Riva 110 Dolcevita
It’s the new fiberglass flagship of the fleet and the second-born, following Riva 100’ Corsaro, of the brand’s updated flybridge range.

Riva 110' Dolcevita

Characterised by a super-sporty profile and a design enhanced by shaped glass windows and chrome-plated inserts, Riva 110’ Dolcevita is a luxurious loft, open to the sea on every side, Riva 110’ Dolcevita offers 270° of absolute visibility and enables the lounge to reach a height of 2.30 metres, thanks to a large stainless steel frame that supports the superstructure, acting as a frame for the floor-to-ceiling windows. The area is thus free from interruptions, bathed with natural light. In addition to the innovative “spider frame” structure, one of the particular features of this model is the total liveability of the spaces.

Riva 66’ Ribelle
Brand new elements go alongside the distinctive traits of the brand in the new Riva 66’ Ribelle, the latest Riva masterpiece distinguished by the stated desire to break the mould.

Riva 66' Ribelle_teaser 1

Built at the historic Sarnico shipyard, it is the product of the collaboration between Officina Italiana Design and Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee and Engineering Department.
The exterior lines repeat and evolve from those of the latest models of the Riva range through the introduction of new aesthetic and functional elements and the use of the high-quality materials typical of the shipyard’s tradition, such as mahogany and stainless steel.

Foiler Yachts
UAE-based ENATA Marine, world’s first production foiling yacht, rocked last 2018 Dubai International Boat Show with the world debut of its new FOILER yacht. Now FOILER is ready to wow French Riviera.

Delivering a smooth and exhilarating ride for passengers, FOILER offers a comfortable high- performance driving experience for whoever is at the helm. Its retractable carbon fiber hydrofoils deliver strength, rigidity and lightness, allowing the yacht to fly 1.5 meters above the water for the most exciting and relaxing yachting experience.

Foiling technology has been around for a very long time and is used mostly in sail boats and kitesurfing, however Enata has made the first hydrofoil yacht which is easy for anyone to use and very efficient. Foiler has a huge window of efficiency as it starts to foil at 12 knots and is completely out of the water at 17 knots with a maximum speed of 40 knots in flight mode. It is also incredibly easy to use and drive, just like a sports car: you just press a button for the foils to deploy and you can be on your way. Handling waves up to 2.5m to 3m in foiling mode (conditions with 5 to 6 Beaufort), while still providing complete comfort for up to 8 people, the FOILER can retract the foils and be used as a classical boat in more extreme conditions. The shape of the foils – as well – are different than before, thanks to new advancements in technology. New Enata R&D technologies have helped develop a better foil that is both very performing, comfortable, and auto stable.

 © Guillaume Plisson

The foils are fully retractable. With our patented system, the FOILER switches from foiling mode to Archimedean mode in a few seconds. When moored or at the harbour, the foils and electric torpedoes – which propel the boat – are entirely out of the water. That way they stay dry and clean, thereby reducing the maintenance. The hull of the Foiler has also a very elaborate design to provide very smooth take-off and landing phases, even in the waves. Finally, due to the hybrid system and it being above the water, it generates very little noise. Very low engine noise and no noise from the waves hitting the hull. It is extremely quiet. All of this combined means that everyone/everything around you won’t even know you just passed by flying at 40 knots!

ISA Yachts
Extra 76, after the première at the Versilia Yachting Rendez-Vous, will be exhibited at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2018.

Extra76 as “Extra ordinary”, the first born of the range is a yacht with unique features. Unusual lines, smaller dimensions, an innovative ‘concept of use’: EXTRA 76 is designed to meet the needs of those who want to get closer to the world of yachting, enjoying full contact with nature and in a spirit of full conviviality with their guests or family. Designed by Francesco Guida, the 24 meters’ yacht has been launched in Ancona at the end of April and then delivered to her owner.

Isa Extra 76

Extra76, with her maximum beam of 6,8 meters, sets a record in the yacht  segment in terms of cockpit and saloon volumes, giving her guests the chance to live in close contact with nature and creating a direct feeling with the sea both in navigation and at anchor. The big Research and Development effort has been strongly dedicated to the environment as well.

Invictus
World debut in Cannes for the new 320 GTthat has all the features we became acquainted with on the other models in the range and has combined them to optimise results. From 280 GT it has taken manoeuvrability and dynamic properties, which combine with the large liveable areas inspired with by the flagship, 370 GT.

Invictus320GT-HT---V02---Vanilla---camprua---01

The reverse bow – one of the range’s distinguishing features – was further adjusted to deliver a greater sense of elegance. This feature is emphasised by the oval-section edge that runs the entire length of the boat, from the bow down to the stern swim platform. The deck’s layout includes access to the cockpit via the stern swim platform, moving left of the large sundeck, which can be further expanded by transforming the fore sofa. In the middle of the cockpit, the L-shaped dinette has a table and faces a real “outdoor kitchen” (with fridge, ice maker, grill and basin), all neatly tucked into a stand-up cabinet that – in perfect Invictus style – can elegantly conceal

Mangusta
There will be two mangusta on display. A Mangusta 110 Maxi Openand a Mangusta Oceano 43.

Designed by Alberto Mancini, Mangusta Oceano 43 is a yacht which expresses her proportions through a blend of taught, sharp lines combined with softer sections. On the deck at bow the external area was designed with two separate sunbathing areas which come together in a swimming-pool with a waterfall featuring an infinity effect.

DCIM100MEDIADJI_0014.JPG

Glazing on the bottom of the swimming pool brings light and semi-transparency into the Owner suite head located on the underlying deck. Astern, on the other hand, the hatch features transversal cuts in glass through which visitors can glimpse a fully-furnished beach area. Once open, it extends over the sea creating a platform where the glazed surfaces turn into a source of natural light which lets in the nighttime lighting of the underwater aft lights.

Mangusta 110
The unique trait of this vessel can be found in term performance in all its meanings. In terms of speed: the MTU 16V2000 M96L engines push it over 33 knots in maximum speed.
In terms of onboard comfort: this model glides elegantly over the water, with no vibrations and noise, thanks to its waterjet propulsion. The presence of a gyroscopic stabilization system allows reducing pitches and rolls, optimizing comfort when anchored and when cruising, in stormy waters, too.

Mangusta 110 (1)

The distinctive characteristic, as for all Mangusta models, are also the large volumes onboard, the comfort of the open areas and the optimal balance between indoor and outdoor spaces.
In terms of functionality: the reduced draft, of just 1.70 meters, allows cruising also in shallow waters. It can be easily maneuvered through joystick and it is equipped with dynamic positioning, which allows the vessel to remain in a specific GPS position without being affected by the tide, wind and current.

Mazu Yachts
The Mazu 52HT will make her debut at the 2018 Cannes Yachting Festival. The 52HT is built of carbon composite in a lightweight sandwich construction for rigidity and strength. Offering generous interior volume and deck space, plus an open-sided, carbon composite hardtop for protection from the summer sun, the new model continues the handcrafted, superyacht feel of the Mazu range with enhanced onboard comfort for extended overnight cruising.

Mazu 52ht_interior_v2_drama

In addition to the large foredeck, protected cockpit, open aft deck and swim platform, the interior layout provides for two guest cabins with separate bathroom facilities and a spacious dinette/lounge area. Luxuriously soft Foglizzo leathers appear throughout the interior and the restrooms feature 5mm Bianca marble veneers atop a lightweight aluminium substrate. Powered by twin Volvo IPS 800 engines (600hp each), the 52HT will have a top speed of 36 knots and a cruising speed of 32 knots.

Numarine
The 2018 Cannes Yachting Festival will be the world premiere for the 26XPin its full displacement version, while the 32XP is set to make its European debut. The yachts have many similarities as they represent Numarine’s new XP Series of expedition vessels.

Numarine 26XP-1
Numarine 26XP-1

It looks very different comparing to the shipyard’s performance models. Both 26XP and 32XP are designed inside and outside by the shipyard’s long-term collaborator Can Yalman. Naval architecture is by Umberto Tagliavini, another perennial partner of the shipyard. Both models are very modern, even futuristic, due to angular windows and a vertical bow. They have a well-proven and efficient hull, especially designed for ocean cruising.

The comfort on board is everything, so Numarine took great care in eliminating or reducing all sources of noise and vibration. The on-board systems that resolve these issues are from the shipyard’s longstanding partner Silent Line, noise and vibration experts for luxury yachts, commercial vessels, and industrial and architectural projects. Usually, this advanced technology is applied on much bigger megayachts over 80 metres in length.

Pearl Yachts
Pearl Yachts will unveil its brand new flagship – the Pearl 95 that marks its debut into the superyacht market. Designed by Dixon Yacht Design, the new Pearl 95 boasts the same legendary seakeeping capabilities and impressive manoeuvrability as her smaller sister yachts. The 95 takes the sporty ethos embedded in Pearl Yachts culture into a semi-raised pilothouse design, with an innovative and voluminous interior. The superstructure maximises glazing, and introducing sweeping curves in the shearline enhancing the connection with the sea. From the hull design through to the styling, engineering and interior space planning, the Dixon design team has strived to produce a yacht that really stands out from the crowd.

Pearl 95_Aft view

The new Pearl 95 will feature exclusive Kelly Hoppen luxurious interior design. Also the feedback from past and current Pearl Yacht owners has strongly influenced the development of the new 95: the owner’s cabin is located forward on the main deck and features a full beam design maximising space and creating a class leading cabin. On the lower deck there are two double cabins and two twin cabins. The Pearl 95 achieves a top speed of 28 knots and has a cruising range of 380 nautical miles thanks to its 2 x MTU 16V M96 2400hp engines. Caterpillar C32 1925hp and 2 x MTU 16V M96L 2600hp are also available.

Sanlorenzo
SL102 e SX76, whose concepts have been unveiled for the first time on the occasion of the Elite Days 2018, will have their official debut during Cannes Yachting Festival.

SL102, the first asymmetrical yacht in the world.
The idea of creating an asymmetrical yacht stems from a well-defined design idea that is rooted in the company’s DNA and in its intrinsic capacity to redesign the interior of a boat.

Sanlorenzo-SL102

With the aim of obtaining greater usability of the interior spaces and better access to the exterior, the SL102 rethinks the well-established layout of a yacht, only keeping the deck on the starboard side and eliminating the port side one, which is carried on the roof of the structure, allowing through this asymmetrical configuration, never tried before, to recover about 10 square meters of area to benefit the interior.

SX76, the new-born of the “SX” line
A happy and intelligent synthesis between the classic motor yacht with flying bridge and the recent and growing explorer model, the SX76 incorporates the total family feelingof the SX line, keeping all the style features of SX88, in a smaller version and features the availability of large open spaces and big windows;

the perfect integration between aesthetics and functionality; the living room area at the bow on the main deck which, cleared from the wheelhouse, can be dedicated to the dining room adjacent to the kitchen or, as in the version designed by Piero Lissoni, the main deck interior becomes a single open environment which houses as a continuous living area, the living room, dining room and open kitchen; the swimming platform at the stern which can become a garage or a beach club.

Silent Yachts
World Première for the Silent 55 a cruising catamaran powered by solar energy. The yacht uses silent electric propulsion for unlimited range, with no noise or fumes and minimal vibration, and is self-sufficient as well as virtually maintenance-free.
The Silent 55 can be equipped as a “Cruiser” version, with a pair of 30 kw motors or as an “E-Power” version with 2 x 250 kw motors.

SILENT55_Render_Ext_3

A “Hybrid Power” version has 2 x 220 hp diesel engines and two 14 kw electric motors. With 30 high-efficiency solar panels rated for approximately 9 kilowatt-peak, the Silent 55 uses maximum power point tracking (MPPT) solar charge regulators and lithium batteries, which provide capacity for all-night cruising, while a 15-kva inverter provides power for all household appliances.

The systems require hardly any maintenance and produce no fumes or noise.
The Silent 55 is available in five different layouts ranging from three to six staterooms with three or four heads. A full-width central owner’s stateroom is the centerpiece of three of the layouts, with guest staterooms located in port and starboard hulls. The Silent 55 is built using vacuum-bagged resin infusion to create a lightweight glass-sandwich composite construction that has sound- and temperature-insulating qualities. The hull is reinforced with carbon fiber at stress points, and uses vinylester resin to prevent osmotic blistering.

Sirena 58
Measuring 18,58 metres  in length  overall ,  arguably the  highlight  of the  Sirena  58 is  her   general arrangement  and  design by  Italian  designer Tommaso  Spadolini. The vertical  bow provided  Sirena  58 with much  more  living space,  both  inside the   full – beam  master stateroom  and  outside on  the  foredeck .

The main features inside are a spacious main deck of approx. 52 sqm and larger cabins in the category. The owner’s quarter in particular, with approx. 24 sqm, has the biggest suite on the market, in terms of both surface area and volume. The cockpit, closed at the stern by a large opening control panel, is protected by high sea breakers extending up to the stern wheel. Easy sailing is guaranteed by two winches at the helmsman’s fingertips at the bow of the helm station. The interiors have been designed in collaboration with Design Unlimited with a layout including three very spacious double cabins and three bathrooms, and permit addition of a crew cabin.

Azuree 46
The  Azuree 46  is  distinctive in  design  incorporating many  recognizable advantages within  her  deck  and  interior layout. Everything is designed  to ensure  greater  comfort and  safety  when onboard. Having the best level  of comfort  while at anchor is  as important  to  them as sailing  a beautifully  balanced,  responsive yacht,  be  it  day  sailing over  a  weekend  or the adventure   of   long – distance  passage making  as  part  of   their  potential itinerary.

Sirena Azuree

Manoeuvring with the German  mainsheet system  and  non – overlapping  jib enables  easy  and precise handling even  with  the smallest  crew.

Southern Wind Shipyard
On display at the Cannes Boat Show there will be Seatius, the brand new SW96 that splashed in March of this year. The pens behind the SW96 miniseries are old Southern Wind friends: Farr Yacht Design did the naval architecture while the general concept was crafted by the yard, Farr Design and Nauta Design which also styled the exterior and interiors.

That mix of talents attracted Seatius’ owner who, before giving the go-ahead for his Southern Wind, visited the yard in Cape Town several times to really get to grips with its construction techniques and philosophy. He also did his sailing homework, cruising and racing various SW yachts extensively in both the Mediterranean and Caribbean. As soon as he saw the drawings for the Southern Wind 96, he was won over,” says Jim Shmicker, vice president of Farr Yacht Design.

Swan
All of Nautor´s know-how and experience in racing and cruising yachts have been incorporated into this new blue-water Swan 78. Her length has been deliberately contained in order to meet the EC 24.00 meters length overall limitation, and her hull form is beamy and very powerful. Modern hull lines, with a flared stern above the waterline, twin rudders and a telescopic keel make Haromi a performance yacht capable of fast long-distance cruising, or an ideal home-from-home for relaxing onboard in privacy with friends and family.

On the Swan 78 Frers signature lines have given their very best, with sleek curves that create a volume capable of protecting the cockpit and creating more space below. The design is a masterly mix of curved lines and multifaceted surfaces, with 360 degrees windows and a generous coachroof that doubles up as a sunbathing area. The recessed sprayhood and the large bimini keep guests always well protected in a cockpit/lounge.
To provide the most flexibility and satisfy any possible owners’ requirement, the interiors of the Swan 78 are offered in two different layouts: Owner Forward (OF) and Owner Aft (OA). The cabin provides an impressive 6m width, thanks to the generous volumes of the modern hull shape.

Crew accommodations for two are ample and functional in both cases.
