In the Renaissance setting of Palazzo Banfi, on via Brera, at the heart of Milan’s Design District, CEA presents its dedication to the world of design through an exhibition that brings together the essence of design with the elegance and permanence of its material of choice: stainless steel.

The central project is Matters of Reflection, an immersive installation that explores reflection as a design element, a physical phenomenon and an introspective dimension. Through an elaborate system of mirrors and reflective surfaces in polished steel, space multiplies, fragments and recomposes itself, generating a fluid and ever-evolving perception. The visitor is not merely an observer, but an integral part of the work: their presence transforms it, becoming a visual and narrative element. Reflection manifests on multiple levels — optical, spatial, emotional — turning matter into experience. Steel is not just a surface, but a sensitive material capable of amplifying light, environment and identity.

This same dialogue between matter and form is found in ATOLL, a kitchen island in polished stainless steel designed by MAO Architects, whose name evokes the gentle curve of an atoll and the harmonious relationship between opposites: solidity and fluidity, nature and technology. Steel, wood and natural stone coexist without overlapping, in a balance that seeks not spectacle but the right measure. Every stage of the project ensures material traceability, low environmental impact and full recyclability — an object designed to last, one that expands CEA’s design language without betraying its values.

The same rigour is expressed on a more intimate scale with ALLURE, a collection of bathroom handles conceived as a jewel to be set into the wall. The play of light and shadow across the surface creates an illusory, captivating wave, as if to reproduce matter in its liquid state. The polished finish becomes an almost total negation of materiality: the object dissolves into its own reflections, like a mirage. The edge and all complementary elements are in brushed stainless steel; the collection is also available in CEA’s special finishes — Black Diamond, Bronze, Copper and Light Gold.

The common thread running through all three projects is the choice of AISI 316L stainless steel: an ecological, highly hygienic, fully recyclable and exceptionally long-lasting material, and a key player in the circular economy. All CEA production relies on renewable energy sources, with a constant commitment to resource conservation and the reduction of unnecessary energy consumption — an expression of social responsibility that is not a stance, but a substance.
