Centrostiledesign was also on hand at the recent edition of the Miami International Boat Show in Florida, one of the top boat shows worldwide.
Making its début there was new S55 by Filippetti Yacht, the latest arrival of the Marches-based shipyard. The yacht was, in fact, designed by the company led by Davide Cipriani. This new project completes the new sport line of Fausto Filippetti‘s shipyard, a historical key figure on the Italian yachting scene, with which a collaboration agreement went into effect and that has already been crowned by the design of the other two models of the line, the S53 and its “big brother”, the S65.
More specifically, Centrostiledesign designers were responsible for both the exterior and interior lines of the SS55, thus creating a dynamic and clear-cut concept. The yacht features compact and aggressive lines combined with extreme comfort and an outstanding liveability of the interior, made possible by solutions such as the glass aft door, can be closed to shelter the salon or fully opened to provide the interior, together with the large side and front windows, with plenty of light and spaciousness and make it possible for those at sea to thoroughly enjoy the view of the water close up.
Comfort is guaranteed under the deck as well, with roomy living space, from the galley to the sleeping area fitted out with three cabins, including the owner’s full-beam cabin and two bathrooms, while on deck another innovative solution is found, the backrest, which automatically rises once a given speed is reached to ensure the occupants are totally safe. There is all of this and more: definitely high performance in both the version with Volvo Penta 900 engines and IPS, able to push the boat up to a top speed of 38 knots and a cruising speed of 32, and in that with 1000 HP Man engines and Arneson, capable of taking it up to a maximum speed of 46 knots and a cruising speed of 37.
