From the Formula 1 track to the open sea. Charles Leclerc has never hidden his passion for yachts, always remaining faithful to Riva, part of the Ferretti Group. The Monegasque driver made his debut on the shores of the French Riviera with a Dolceriva “Monza,” a 15-meter open, which was then followed by the aggressive Riva 66′ Ribelle, and then to the Riva 82′ Diva, a boat with more comfort and space on board.
It could only be from the Bergamo-based company its latest piece, a Riva 102′ Corsaro Super that further strengthens the solid bond with the historic Italian nautical brand. “Charles’ passion for Riva, obviously mutual, is a testimony to quality and beauty that we welcome with boundless joy,” commented Alberto Galassi, CEO of the Ferretti Group. The manager shared a personal wish with the pilot: “If such a formidable pilot and icon of style and elegance once again chooses one of our boats, it means that Riva, and in this case the magnificent 102′ Corsaro Super, offers unparalleled standards of beauty, livability and technology. Thank you Charles, have fun and enjoy the water on your new Riva.”

The design of the 30-meter yacht with elegant and sporty features was overseen by the Officina Italiana Design group of architects, which was also responsible for fitting out the boat’s interior. The large windows along the bulwarks offer diffuse light that allows a perception of continuity between exterior and interior spaces. The choice of furnishings, signed by Minotti, gives to the environment an eclectic balance between modernity and elements reminiscent of the past. The exclusive cushioning made by Jim Thompson, completes the atmosphere adding a touch of sartorial elegance.

At the center of the stage there is the iconic flybridge, the true heart of convivial moments, where a kitchen and lounge area designed for guest comfort are located. The area is equipped with a bar, grill, induction hob, two refrigerators and an ice machine, an indispensable support to accompany cocktails during golden hour.
At the stern, the 35-square-meter beach club offers a privileged view of the sea and dedicated space to stow water toys.
Leclerc’s Corsaro Super is equipped with MTU engines that provide a cruising speed of 24 knots with a peak reaching 28. Comfort on board is ensured by a suite of stabilization systems that combines Hydrotab Interceptor trim tabs, Sleipner Vector fins and Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilizers, which allow the vessel to maintain a flawless trim even in the most challenging sea conditions.

The driver’s personal touch emerges especially in the interiors, where the choice of materials and layout of the rooms reflect a refined taste. Poliform furniture, enhanced by custom details such as custom-made door handles, characterizes the atmosphere. Entertainment is provided by Bang & Olufsen audio-video systems, featured in the main salon, lounge and master cabin, embellished with fine fabrics that denote an almost sartorial care for each element.
The guest suites are equipped with Frette signature linens and accessories, while one of the most striking rooms in the entire yacht is the master bathroom, finished in polished Calacatta Vagli Oro marble. For the other bathrooms and surfaces, Leclerc chose Calacatta Greige Corian, a contemporary material that complements the vessel’s neutral palette.
