Codecasa consolidates course between tradition and vision

The year 2025 was a symbolic year for Codecasa, culminating in the celebration of its 200th anniversary since its founding. A historic milestone that did not mark a point of arrival, but rather the beginning of a new phase. Indeed, 2026 opened in the sign of dynamism and market confidence, with two weighty novelties confirming the solidity of the Viareggio shipyard. Making headlines is the launching of Legacy 4, 57 meters that went into the water at the end of February. One figure above all: it is the largest hull built by Codecasa in the past seven years. The project stems from the consolidated collaboration with Tommaso Spadolini, an authoritative signature of Italian yacht design, and combines formal elegance and oceanic vocation.

Legacy 4

Legacy 4 is designed for long crossings: range of 5,000 miles at 12 knots cruising speed, while top speed reaches 17 knots at light displacement thanks to a pair of Caterpillar 3512Es of 1,771 kW (2,375 hp) each. On the technical front, the Lloyd’s Register Emea – 100 A1, SSC “Yacht” Mono G6 – LMC + UMS – “Red Ensign Group Yacht Code – Part A” Full Compliance certification represents the highest quality standard in the industry. The interiors were designed with comfort and functionality at the center, with pathways designed to ensure efficient and discreet service. An owner’s suite, five guest cabins, captain’s cabin and six double cabins for the crew are located on board. The launch of Legacy 4 was preceded by the start of on-spec construction of the seventh unit in the successful Codecasa 43-meter series. Distinctive element, the vertical bow that defines a bold and contemporary profile.

Codecasa 43m

Steel hull, aluminum superstructure, design entirely developed by in-house engineering department. The layout is spread over four decks with two spacious lounges, four large guest cabins and the owner’s suite forward of the main deck. Ample space is also given to outdoor areas, with an en plein air lounge forward of the upper deck. Delivery is scheduled for 2028. After two centuries of history, Codecasa thus continues to sail a course whose coordinates are: tradition, solidity and industrial vision.
