The shipyard wins the prize awarded by the Altagamma Foundation to emerging brands that have excelled in their expression of Italian culture and lifestyle.
During a gala evening at Villa Madama in Rome, where the Italian Prime Minister officially entertains international guests, Evo Yachts was awarded the Altagamma Foundation Young Business award in the Engines and Speed category.
Now in its second year, the award is presented to emerging Italian companies that stand out for the design, quality and innovative content of their products. These are characteristics recognised by the award panel (Chairman Andrea Illy and the entire Board of the Altagamma Foundation) in the revolutionary EVO 43 day cruiser built by Naples-based shipyard Evo Yachts.
Product quality, attention to detail, striking design and highly innovative technology, combined with an aggressive expansion strategy on foreign markets, are the drivers behind the huge international success of EVO 43 less than a year after its launch, contributing to Evo Yachts’ image as an emblem of Italian made quality worldwide.
The award ceremony was attended by leading representatives from the world of Italian fashion, luxury and finance, including the sponsors of the event: Borsa Italiana, Maserati, SDA Bocconi and L’Uomo Vogue. The award was accepted by Corrado Del Fanti, Head of Sales and Marketing.
“This acknowledgement,” said brothers Giuseppe, Alfredo and Rosario Mercuri, Evo Yachts owners, “springs from a heartfelt love of the sea, from creativity and from the desire to build a unique and innovative yacht that combines technology, sporting prowess, Italian style and beauty. We would like to thank designer Valerio Rivellini and express our gratitude to the Altagamma Foundation for having rewarded our efforts. This recognition spurs us on to continue to innovate and to promote the value of Italian made products worldwide”.
