Fabbrica Italiana Motoscafi (FIM) officially enters the high-end dinghy market with a new division entirely dedicated to custom boats for superyachts, resorts and hospitality operators.
The new division was created with the goal of developing tailor-made tenders built around the needs of owners, captains, yacht managers and shipyards. Each design can be configured in terms of layout, finishes, equipment, and operational setup so that it integrates seamlessly with the mother ship and the required service profile.
FIM tender – The first model: TT9 Open
Opening the range is the TT9 Open, 9.4-meter tender with a carbon hull designed to operate as a guest tender, chase boat or independent day boat. The boat was developed to meet the aesthetic and functional standards of the superyacht market, while maintaining compact dimensions and great versatility.
According to the company, the first example has already been sold and will be embarked on a 70-meter superyacht.
The TT9 Open adopts a lightened carbon structure to improve handling and responsiveness, while the deck layout is designed to facilitate guest embarkation and disembarkation. Seating areas forward and aft allow both short transfers and relaxing moments while sailing.

FIM emphasizes that customization will be central to the new division’s offerings: each design can be developed to meet specific needs related to privacy, weather protection, guest comfort, and aesthetic consistency with the mother ship.

- TT9 Limo: designed to offer greater protection and privacy during guest transfers
- TX9 Taxi Tender: designed for luxury operators, resorts and hospitality facilities
With this move, FIM continues the path of diversification, strengthening its presence in the superyacht sector through a dedicated range of fully customized tenders and support vessels.
