There are small boats that can be extraordinarily interesting. Invictus’s two new flagships, which made their debut at the last Cannes Yachting Festival, are among them.

At just 16.87m, the Invictus TT550 and ST550, will turn the heads of owners normally drawn to larger options, following a trend emerging in high-end yachting: owners of 30 or 40m yachts are turning to smaller yachts for continued use while chartering larger “holiday” models for 2-3 weeks, minimising boat and crew management.

The pair of flagships’ unmistakable gritty, safe, half-ribbed bows are a true feat for a segment where uniformity reigns supreme. An “odd couple” capable of satisfying owners with different needs, without sacrificing attention to safety and detail. “The ST550 is a semi-cabin, with an enclosed lounge on the main deck and two cabins with a bathroom below deck, yet still designed more for outdoor use, for brief cruises: a partially enclosed open boat,” explains Christian Grande, exterior and interior designer of both.

“While the TT550 is a purely open model, designed for an outdoor experience, ensuring seamless contact with the sea.” They share the same hull lines that echo the brand’s style, lower deck layout, and bow spaces, designed to enjoy the view while also maintaining privacy when moored.

“The semi-reversed bow and shielding provide an impressive effect and excellent protection,” explains Christian Grande. “These are intended for reserved owners. Carbon was, of course, applied on board, but it is designed to improve performance and stability, not to show off.”

Despite their size, the two flagships of the Cantieri Aschenez brand are tailored to a top-tier clientele focused on quality rather than just appearance. The external lines are clean, classic but, at the same time, modern, to uphold value over time. The finishes include noble materials such as teak and the option of mahogany, stainless steel and cutting-edge technical surfaces that enhance the spaces with a timeless aura of elegance. Both models can have the galley on the main or lower deck (a comfortable dinette can be installed in its place).

The pair will be completely customisable thanks to the Atelier Invictus, the in-house creative workshop that allows customers to refine every detail: materials, colours and exclusive accessories. A unique sartorial experience for hulls of this size, supported by highly specialised craftsmen and suppliers.

The TT550 made its debut at Cannes in a Stone White version with a Cloudy Cognac interior while the ST550 was on display in Spectrum Blue, enhanced by “Cloudy Titanium” details.

The new upholstery stems from extensive research reaching well beyond the nautical sector, combining style, comfort and resistance to sea conditions. “We selected materials from areas far removed from the nautical sector to offer new tactile and visual sensations,” explains Paolo Avellone, head of Atelier Invictus. “The outcome is a space designed to relax, welcome and reflect the unique identity of each owner.” Both versions can be powered by two Volvo Penta IPS 800s or two Volvo Penta IPS 950s.

Invictus Yacht will be present in Düsseldorf, in HALLE 5 / Stand C20, with the following models: TT460 Shell Edition, TT420, GT320 and GT280.
