Penned by the Studio Sculli with naval architecture by Vannini- Oleggini, this is the new 40-metre expedition yacht by Floating Life that has announced the choice of CCN – Cerri Cantieri Navali as the builder.
Monikered the K40, the light iceclassed steel-hulled vessel will be the first model in the debuting Fuoriserie. The lines of its topsides and superstructure are simple and modern with a few nods to tradition.
Its most striking features include a fourth deck dedicated entirely to the owner, lots of al fresco spaces and a galley and pantry comparable to any 50-metre. The bright interiors yield a mix of natural wood and lacquered and upholstered furnishings. The spec includes a 6.5-metre tender in the central garage. The K40 will also have a beach area with cinema, changing room and stowage for dive gear. There’s even a barbeque and bar on the sun deck.
