Luca Dini Design & Architecture presented the Cubic and Spheric collections at the Dubai Boat Show. It’s a collection created in collaboration with Franchi Umberto Marmi, a leader in marble design and processing. The furnishing accessories, which include armchairs, ergonomic seats and deckchairs, will be on display at stand ESS-50D at Interni now.
With over thirty years of experience in luxury superyacht design, Luca Dini has reinterpreted marble in a contemporary key, creating light and sophisticated elements. Traditionally associated with heaviness, marble is now transformed into elegant and functional solutions, ideal for exclusive residential environments, nautical and outdoor spaces.
Designed mainly for outdoor use, the Cubic and Spheric collections, part of the Home Design Collection, stand out for their use of high-quality materials and refined aesthetics, making them perfect for sophisticated interiors too. Thanks to an innovative technology that makes marble light, the furnishings can be used safely even on yachts and superyachts, combining timeless beauty and functional versatility. The high-tech processes, with 45° cuts, curvatures, shaping and hollowing, give the marble a lightness and ductility similar to that of fabric. Each collection, made with Carrara marble, is enriched with precious woods or original colour combinations and optimised thanks to aluminium or honeycomb structures that further lighten the material.
While the Cubic collection embodies geometric rigour with a wide range of customisation options, Spheric, with its sinuous and rounded shapes, evokes a feeling of warmth and balance. Both lines stand out for their innovative materials and exclusive finishes, guaranteeing lightness, resistance and a strong visual impact.
‘The CUBIC and SPHERIC collections represent the perfect fusion of craftsmanship and innovation, taking marble into a new dimension,’ commented Luca Dini, CEO & Founder of Luca Dini Design & Architecture.
‘We transform creativity into customised solutions, combining innovation, craftsmanship and an avant-garde vision to enhance the excellence of Italian design’, added Davide Biselli, architect and project manager of Interni now.
This collection marks the first step in the new vision of Luca Dini Design & Architecture, centred on the creation of furnishing elements in collaboration with internationally renowned partners: an unmissable opportunity to discover how Luca Dini has transformed marble into a versatile and contemporary material, perfect for land and sea, destined to last over time.
