With an LOA of 50m, the Mangusta 165 Rev is the flagship of the new Maxi Open Rev range. Penned by Igor Lobanov, who was also behind the 104 Rev, the 165 Rev has an aggressive profile and taut, sleek lines were inspired, says the designer, by 1930s sports cars. The result is timeless yet radical beauty. As with all Mangustas, very generous volumes, comfortable al fresco areas and constant inside-outside dialogue are the bywords. One new addition is the stern hatch, which opens like a sports car hard top to reveal a 36 sqm beach club.
The side garage can accommodate a tender and two jet skis also. Large sunning and relaxation areas are also to be found forward with an infinity pool, and on the sun deck. The m2atelier interiors are awash with warm tones and contemporary solutions that enhance the natural light that abounds throughout. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the saloon reduce the sense of division between interior and exterior to the absolute minimum and create a sophisticated, welcoming ambience. The 92 sqm master suite is on the main deck while the reminder of the guest quarters are on the lower deck with up to five two-berth en suite cabins possible.
