The Mangusta Oceano 50 was awarded the “Best of show” prize, a prestigious award assigned by a qualified jury to the best yacht present at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the most important boat show in the United States, where more than 1300 boats were on display at the edition that just ended. A prize for innovation

This prize is awarded to the yacht exhibited at the show that is most innovative in terms of performance, design, technological content and architecture by a jury of experts. Present at the award ceremony were Maurizio Balducci, CEO of Overmarine Group and Stefano Arlunno, President of Overmarine Group USA.

What caught the judges’ attention were the voluminous outdoor and indoor spaces including the beach area, which overlooks three interconnected terraces above the water.
The most successful area was the huge bow area on the main deck where a custom full beam pool with an infinity effect was created.

Mangusta Oceano 50: a dream owner suite

The Owner’s Suite, located on the main deck, fascinated the jury with its sophisticated and refined interiors and the exclusive fully automatic “balcony”, which can therefore be managed in total autonomy by the Owner, overlooking the sea.

The Mangusta Oceano 50 is a displacement vessel with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure with a tonnage of 499 GT that was born from the collaboration between the shipyard’s technical offices, designer Alberto Mancini, and P.L.A.N.A. Design by Ing. Ausonio.
