Midsummer Dream: Ferretti Group inaugurate the Italian Summer in Amalfi with the Riva 54METRI

Amalfi Coast takes the scene. Ferretti Group chose it as the setting for “Midsummer Dream,” the exclusive weekend held at Borgo Santandrea – the five-star resort set into the cliffs of Amalfi – to celebrate the Italian summer and Made-in-Italy yachting before a select audience: its own owners.

The weekend opened with the inauguration of the new Riva Lounge at Borgo Santandrea, the latest addition to the constellation of Riva Destinations the brand has been placing in the most iconic spots across the Mediterranean. The space is conceived as a physical extension of the Riva imaginary: the timeless elegance of the brand, the promise of the dolce vita, the taste of a hospitality meant to feel sophisticated and instantly recognizable.

Riva’s biggest yachts

The evening’s center of gravity, however, was the Riva 54METRI, the largest yacht ever built by the shipyard founded by Carlo Riva. Made entirely of aluminium and born of the collaboration between Officina Italiana Design, the Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari and Ferretti Group’s Engineering Department, the flagship was unveiled to guests with a drone show that lit up the Costiera sky, following a refined dinner enlivened by tableaux vivants and artistic performances.

Launched at the Riva Superyachts Division in Ancona in the summer of 2025, the flagship found its ideal frame on the Coast. More than a launch – that chapter is now behind it – Amalfi offered the stage on which the biggest Riva of all time meets the group’s community of owners: a setting worthy of its pedigree, where the boat becomes the heart of an experience made of light, sea and hospitality.

The partner of the event

The rest was pure summer choreography. Crowning the evening was a Beach White Party by the water’s edge, closed by a breathtaking fireworks display over the Mediterranean. Alongside Ferretti Group, two distinguished partners: Range Rover, official automotive partner, on hand with its SV Intrepid model, and Marchesi Antinori for the wines.

Beyond the staging, “Midsummer Dream” captures the group’s trajectory well. Backed by a portfolio of seven brands – Ferretti Yachts, Riva, Pershing, Itama, CRN, Custom Line and Wally – and a range spanning from 8 to 95 metres, Ferretti Group is increasingly playing the game of experience and lifestyle, not just that of the boat. The Riva Destinations, the invitation-only events, the meticulous attention to setting are all part of a strategy in which the product is the starting point, not the only selling argument.
