Monaco Yacht Show Preview

From September 26 to 29, in the iconic Port Hercules of the Principality of Monaco will host the Monaco Yacht Show to celebrate the quintessence of the superyacht lifestyle. This year more than 120 extraordinary one-off superyachts are on display,of which 40 new launches are unveiled in a worldwide debut.
Here are some of them

Anvera Yachts

Anvera 48, presented last May at Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous in worldwide premiere will be on display in Monaco.

ANVERA48

With the Anvera 48, LG-YACHT has once again applied its innovative philosophy to create a yacht entirely built in carbon fibre, extremely light crossover boat featuring trendy, unparalleled design shapes and details and embodying the excellence of Made in Italy production. Carbon is increasingly used instead of traditional fibreglass because of its enhanced characteristics: greater resistance and lightness (which means particularly low consumption); efficiency; speed; reduced waste, CO2 and pollution; as well as the possibility to obtain innovative design shapes. The result, in a nutshell, is a high-performance and environmentally-friendly product. 14.50 metres long and up to 4.91 metres wide, Anvera 48is characterised by two special uprights around the deckhouse, the helm station, and the cockpit roofing, and by the air vent integrated in the single lightweight pillar supporting the superstructure. The Anvera 48is fully customisable with top-quality and stylish finishes. At the Monaco Yacht Show will be on display also the Anvera 55.

Arcadia

Just a little over a year since its presentation, Arcadia Yachts is proud to announce that the new A105 will make its debut even in Monaco.

HL_Arcadia_100ft_3d_Exterior_Rendering_009_RJ-3-7

Arcadia Yachts’ core vision in the development of its models has always been to start with the Owner and the use they intend to make of the boat, and then craft the latter to give form and substance to the client’s ideas and wishes. There is no doubt that this idea underpins the success of the A105 project developed by the yard in collaboration with the Milan-based Hot Lab studio. A design so flexible that it can be adapted to the very diverse requests from the Owner.
The A105’s chiselled masculine lines are one of the yard’s trademarks but here have been reinterpreted to raise the communal guest and al fresco areas – the very heart and soul of every Arcadia – to new heights. The result is that contact with nature and the surrounding world is intensified yet also respected thanks to large apertures which reduce the need for air-conditioning, solar panels integrated into the superstructure, and the extensive use of cutting-edge highly efficient thermal insulating glass.

Arcadia_100ft_3d_Exterior_Rendering_009_RJ-3-1

Creating a sense of conviviality and chilled-out relaxation aboard remains one of Arcadia’s core values. The aft deck aboard the A105 can comfortably seat up to 10 people for a formal dinner, while the lounge area has space for a further 12 guests. The latter can also convert to a further dining area offering the Owner the possibility to having more than 20 people aboard to dine at once.
This same principle was applied to the concept for the upper deck as a whole. Here both interior and exterior spaces are cleverly mixed to create a further spectacular relaxation area. Offering just under 30 square metres of space, the convertible sky lounge can be used 365 days a year and opens aft towards the sun lounge which, at 35 square metres, doesn’t just provide Owners with a further convivial area with direct sea contact but also shelters the whole of the aft deck.
To satisfy any and all of Owners’ requirements, Arcadia has also created a variety of different interior layout options at the design stage that play with the inside-outdoor ethic. Currently over 50 combinations on the design have been developed to showcase just how flexible this craft is and to help clients select the solutions that best mirror their own wishes. .

.Azimut Yacht

At the Monaco Yacht Show Azimut Yachts will feature boats from the Grande Line: Azimut Grande 27 Metri, Azimut Grande 32 metri and Azimut Grande 35 Metri.

The Azimut Grande 32 Metri has big, airy, interior and exterior spaces. Outdoors, designer Stefano Righini provides guests not only with a big beach club in the stern, but also a Fly Deck offering a remarkable 70 sq m of space split into three distinct areas: a dining area, a central living space, and finally a relaxation area in the bow with a hydromassage tub, which can become a second lounge area at the owner’s request.

Azimut Grande 32 Metri

The airiness of the outside spaces is complemented by the luminosity of the interiors designed by Achille Salvagni. The full-beam owner’s suite, for example, is flooded with light through full-height glazed surfaces on both sides. Propulsion is provided by two 2,200 mhp MTU engines, driving the yacht to a top speed of 26.5 knots.

Baglietto

Baglietto will attend the Monaco Yacht Show with the Baglietto 48m T-Line, the latest construction in steel and aluminum with a displacement hull. The Baglietto 48m has sleek interiors by Francesco Paszkowski Design, and Baglietto Interior Design planned the layout of the interiors, combining modernity and luxury.

Baglietto Cannes

This 48m sistership of MY Andiamo includes many upgraded spaces. The vessel boasts over 350sqm (3767 sqft) of luxurious space, with room for many new features. The exterior spaces are vast, with the sundeck alone composed of 140sqm (1506 sqft) of al fresco space, including dining space, a sunbathing area, and an infinity pool. The contemporary and elegant interiors, designed by the Baglietto Interior Design, include four guest cabins on the lower deck, in addition to the master suite on the main deck. The clear colors of the Italiannational walnut, perfectly combined with touches of gold and bronze, create a sophisticated and warm atmosphere. Floor to ceiling windows provide excellent natural light and views on the main deck and the skylounge. New on this yacht, the Beach Club, which offers 47sqm of space to relax with a steam shower, bar and an additional area perfect for a gym, massage or spa/relaxation space. The Beach Club faces the sea, ideal for those tranquil moments on the water.

cbi45_stelladimare-7967

Full Custom design for the interiors, directly developed on European Owner’s commission, with Italian timeless elegance combining sophisticated materials together (walnut, wenge’, cherry wood, black lacquered wood, brown, beige leather, bronze mirrors and glass, brushed bronze as unique metal finishing) all in mat/semi-mat finishing giving a comfortable, harmonic feeling on a sophisticated and balanced postmodern architecture characterized by protrusions and recesses. The onboard itinerary is personalized through a private collection of old print and two contemporary pieces of art (custom made -based on Fossati’s project- by Peter Bellerby &Co.) located in the MD Saloon and in the UD Saloon.

 CCN

At the forthcoming Monaco Yacht Show, CCN will be presenting 27 m Freedom that is a 27-m fully-custom yacht purchased by fashion designer Roberto Cavalli, who personally designed her in cooperation with his friend and designer Tommaso Spadolini.
This is a fast motor yacht featuring a LOA of 27 meters and an aluminium hull and superstructure, capable of reaching a maximum speed of 40 knots thanks to 3 water-jet engines.

CCN Fuoriserie

Both the exterior profile and the interior layout reflect the strong personality of the Owner, who asked for a yacht enhancing maximum contact with the sea while also ensuring the utmost privacy. The lower deck features 2 guest cabins and comfortable crew quarters, and the fly includes a private area with pilot seat. The tender is stored forward.

Crn

Latona 50 m
CRN’s mastery of shipbuilding reaches its utmost expression in the new 50-metre superyacht Latona, which will be presented as a world première at the Monaco Yacht Show 2018 at the end of September. Delivered in May, The Latona  has been custom-built to meet the wishes of a highly selective and determined Owner. Drawing inspiration from the ‘Superconero’ of the 1960s, the Latona marks the success of a new joint project between CRN and Zuccon International Project.Indeed, this new yacht’s technical solutions and the slender lines of the hull have been developed by CRN’s Engineering Department, while the craft’s exterior lines were pencilled by design firm Zuccon International Project, who, together with the Shipyard’s Interiors&Design Department also took care of both interiors and exteriors.

CRN Latona 50m DJI_0263 copia

With her 50 metres in length, four decks and an underdeck, the Latona stands out for her classical, timeliness profile that further enhances the style and elegance of outdoor areas. The yacht’s interiors are pervaded by a refined Liberty-style mood, a stylish fil rouge that unravels through all guest areas. The streamlined bow and the spacious interior and exterior volumes, in turn, also include some breathtaking areas almost ‘hanging’ over the sea, let the Latona shine in all her endless beauty.

CRN Latona 50m DJI_0999 copia

Designed jointly with the Customer, this megayacht has been forged and built to meet her Owner’s request for the utmost customisation, in an effort to achieve pure uniqueness – a uniqueness that is also reflected by the colour chosen for the hull, a stylish shade of turquoise whose intensity varies depending on the sea bottom and the waters in which the yacht is cruising.

CRN Latona 50m FFI_1924 copia

Onboard the Latona, guests will find numerous outdoor areas – from the wide Mediterranean-style sundeck to thelounge area at the bow, theoutdoor living areas and theal frescodining area located aft to themagnificent terraces overlooking the sea, all the way to theexclusive tender bay obtained on the lower deck. The latter forms a large open-air lounge integrated with the beach club, featuring a solarium, a fitness area, a hammam and a sea-water indoor pool perfect for children to have fun and also ideal to storethe tender in the yacht’s ‘belly’ during navigation.

CRN Latona 50m DJI_0109 copia

The Latona is a yacht endowed with a strong personality, capable of harmoniously combining the elegant style of her exterior lines with highly functional outdoor and indoor areas as well as interiors boasting a truly distinctive design. And it is just in the interiors that the skilful, refined craftsmanship of the Shipyard and its suppliers has reached its peak, thanks to a painstaking study of the Central European style from the 1920s. This mood now pervades all interiors, starting from the floors, which are enriched by unique decorations chosen by the Owner, like the sinuous dark brown embroidery– a leitmotiv that is found across all decks.Depending on the areas of the yacht, this elegant pattern unravels along the floors (both marble and carpeted ones) as well as on the curved handrail of the internal staircase, creating a pleasant contrast with the light-shade wood panelling on the walls.

Custom Line

Custom Line 120’ and Custom Line 42 will be Custom Line’s flagships at the MYS.

Custom Line 120
Custom Line 120’ is the first Custom Line to bear the signature of Francesco Paszkowski Design. This unique yacht reimagines and combines stylistic features and elements of automotive design and residential architecture, adding in-depth research aimed at enhancing forms and volumes through furnishing choices in line with the very latest trends of contemporary living. Of note is the innovative glass door that gives access to the lounge; in addition to the usual slide opening of the two glass panels, it also has a tilting mechanism providing a 45° inclination.

Custom Line 120'

Thanks to this engineering marvel, developed in conjunction with an aeronautic company, guests can enjoy a single liveable space between cockpit and lounge. The particularly generous spaces are a constant in all the areas, as confirmed by the forward and aft garages designed for water toys and tenders. In addition, Custom Line 120’ is the first yacht that makes it possible to directly connect the flybridge to the forward zone by means of the side passageways with access from the monkey bridge as well, creating a single large deck of 100 square metres.

Custom Line Navetta 42

Designed by Studio Zuccon, the new Custom Line’s flagship is the first vessel in the history of the brand to exceed 300 GT. The new Navetta 42 proposes a layout of the completely customisable interior spaces that best showcases the ship’s generous volumes. The result is better organisation of on-board flows, total privacy for the owner and his guests, and great freedom of movement for the captain and crew.

Custom Line Navetta 42

A vast suite on the main deck is available to the owner, while the layout of the lower deck provides 4 vip cabins for guests. The stern area is entirely dedicated to leisure, conceived as a large beach club at sea level, and its entertainment function is enhanced by the new launching and retrieval system for tenders and water toys from the garage that opens from the side into the sea.

Dreamline Yachts

Dreamline 35

After the world debut in Cannes, the new Dreamline 35will be on display at the Monaco Yaht Show. The yacht has been penned by Team for Design’s Enrico Gobbi in partnership with the Dreamline Technical Department and has exceptional performance delivered by the hull developed by Giuseppe Arrabito of Arrabito Naval Architects. With full custom interiors, like all Dreamline Yacht projects, the distinctive features of this boat are the clean, flowing exterior styling and the elegant and spacious interiors, where the sophisticated use of mirrors gives the sensation of even more space.

Dreamline 35_running (4)

The 35-meter yacht is a full custom build, like all the units built by the shipyard, meaning that owners can not only choose the decorations and materials, but also alter certain parts of the superstructure to satisfy their desires, needs and habits, whatever they are.

Dreamline 35_running (10)

The outdoor areas provide plenty of space for sunbathing and relaxation, as well as a dining area and a swimming pool, while the interior decoration is the result of a carefully selected combination of unique pieces and works of art. The chair and sofa upholstery and the curtains are silk velvet by Armani Casa. The bathroom decor makes extensive use of Portoro, a highly-prized dark-coloured marble, while every setting features a sophisticated combination of refined colour tones and materials.

Dreamline 35_Interiors (16)

The owner’s cabin on the main deck, has an automatic door that is hidden inside the structure when open, so that it doesn’t block the side passageway. The big glass door separating the cockpit and lounge opens up to form one big space. The guest night area on the Lower Deck comprises four cabins with en-suite bathrooms, including two VIP cabins amidships. The crew quarters, which occupy the entire forward section of the hull and have been designed to ensure that guests have the utmost privacy, consist of the captain’s cabin with its own bathroom, plus four more beds in two cabins and another bathroom.

Foiler Yachts

UAE-based ENATA Marine, world’s first production foiling yacht, rocked last 2018 Dubai International Boat Show with the world debut of its new FOILER yacht. Now FOILER is ready to wow French Riviera.

Delivering a smooth and exhilarating ride for passengers, FOILER offers a comfortable high- performance driving experience for whoever is at the helm. Its retractable carbon fiber hydrofoils deliver strength, rigidity and lightness, allowing the yacht to fly 1.5 meters above the water for the most exciting and relaxing yachting experience. Foiling technology has been around for a very long time and is used mostly in sail boats and kitesurfing, however Enata has made the first hydrofoil yacht which is easy for anyone to use and very efficient. Foiler has a huge window of efficiency as it starts to foil at 12 knots and is completely out of the water at 17 knots with a maximum speed of 40 knots in flight mode. It is also incredibly easy to use and drive, just like a sports car: you just press a button for the foils to deploy and you can be on your way. Handling waves up to 2.5m to 3m in foiling mode (conditions with 5 to 6 Beaufort), while still providing complete comfort for up to 8 people, the FOILER can retract the foils and be used as a classical boat in more extreme conditions. The shape of the foils – as well – are different than before, thanks to new advancements in technology. New Enata R&D technologies have helped develop a better foil that is both very performing, comfortable, and auto stable.

The foils are fully retractable. With our patented system, the FOILER switches from foiling mode to Archimedean mode in a few seconds. When moored or at the harbour, the foils and electric torpedoes – which propel the boat – are entirely out of the water. That way they stay dry and clean, thereby reducing the maintenance. The hull of the Foiler has also a very elaborate design to provide very smooth take-off and landing phases, even in the waves. Finally, due to the hybrid system and it being above the water, it generates very little noise. Very low engine noise and no noise from the waves hitting the hull. It is extremely quiet. All of this combined means that everyone/everything around you won’t even know you just passed by flying at 40 knots!

Hessen Yachts

51 metre Irisha
Heesen’s51m Irisha, will make her debut at Monaco Yacht Show 2018.

Mangusta Oceano 46 Q95

The product philosophy is expressed in its great habitability, the ergonomics, and the spaces dedicated to the Owner, to the guests, and to the crew. An ability to surprise that is extended to the technical level, starting from the high range values at various speeds, as well as performance levels in attenuating noise onboard. The design of the outside lines of the new 46-metre vessel was created by Stefano Righini, who maintained and enhanced the contemporary timeless style that characterises Mangusta yachts.
The designer of the interiors, on the other hand, is Alberto Mancini. The extreme attention to detail, the study of materials and the freedom of movement in the utmost privacy are the elements that characterise the style of Mangusta Oceano 46, which can accommodate up to twelve guests in six cabins. A purely custom-made design, in terms of both the layout of the spaces and the furniture and finishes.

Sanlorenzo

There will be four Sanlorenzo Yachts on display at the Monaco Yacht Show. One, the 500 Exp is a World Premiére.

SL500 Exp
The result of Sanlorenzo’slong, thorough analysis of the Explorer and Expedition Vessel range, more and more popular among shipowners who love sailing independently to faraway places, the line EXP launched in 2015 with 460Exp Moka– a displacement steel hull with a 460-tonne aluminium superstructure in 42,8 metres in length – this year introduces a brand new idea.

02 - Sanlorenzo 500Exp

Thanks to this model’s success, three items of which have been launched so far, this year Sanlorenzo has decided to enlarge its collection with500Exp, a new astonishing yacht that will be officially presented at Monaco Yacht Show 2018from 26 to 29September, and stands out for its amazing aesthetic, living, sailing qualitiesand especially for its ability to host a helicopter.

04 - Sanlorenzo 500Exp

With its extended stern area, longer than 460Exp, 500Exp measures 47 metres in length and 9,60 metres in width, andmaintains the style and volume of the advanced superstructure toward the bow, which conveys the Explorer Sanlorenzo range so much personality, highlighting the shipyard’s well-known extreme care for aestheticsthrough its stylish, timeless outline.

03 - Sanlorenzo 500Exp

The first model 500Exp, Ocean Dreamwalker III,was launched during Sanlorenzo’s Elite Days, which took place last May at Sanlorenzo Superyacht‘s site in La Spezia on the occasion of the company’s 60thanniversary.

SL 52 Steel

Through the louvered transom plate the first teasing glimpse of the yacht’s tender is caught, while lateral shell doors to port and starboard hint at the transformative nature of this area. After the transom plate is raised, the garage is flooded and the tender slips gracefully out. Meanwhile, the lateral terraces are opened and a section smoothly lowers down from overhead– not only completing the floor of a vast teak-soled Beach Club, but also revealing the transparent bottom of the swimming pool above. While occupants of the pool bathe luxuriantly in the cockpit, the Beach Club and fully customized full-beam gymnasium below are bathed in a mesmerizing natural light, projected by the sun’s rays shifting playfully through the water. This dramatic conversion of the flooding tender garage into a prime waterfront salon was made possible by the extraordinary expertise of the Sanlorenzo Superyacht Technical Department.

40 Alloy
40Alloy, the natural evolution over 118 ft of the Sanlorenzo range of fibreglass motoryachts, was the first fast displacement Superyacht in metal to be launched by Sanlorenzo, characterized by a semi-planing hull.

Sanlorenzo-40Alloy (1)

Sanlorenzo has entrusted the layout to Francesco Paszkowski, who conceived a completely innovative project, while maintaining the style of Sanlorenzo.

storica

This iconic model is in a class of its own, sporting elegant and timeless flowing lines and introducing innovative features such as the exclusive fold-down terraces in the main salon and Owner’s suite which open out onto the sea, and the gull-wing doors usually seen on sports cars.

460 Explorer
460Exp(460 gross tons and 42 meters in length) has a displacement hull in steel and an aluminum superstructure characterized by Sanlorenzo’s unmistakable lines that makes the range of models always recognizable and inspired by big exploration vessels capable of reaching out of the ordinary and far flung destinations.

01 - Sanlorenzo-460Exp copia

Spaciousness on board, safety, and self-sufficiency are the three factors that take the 460Exp beyond the usual limits associated with yachting, to bring the real meaning of adventure back to her owner: the exploration of far-off and beautiful destinations, with all the usual safety and comfort associated with a superyacht that combines the experience, craftsmanship and innovation of Sanlorenzo.

Great attention is paid to the environment and its conservation: the yacht has received two classification by the RINA: the Comfort Class classification (due to low sound levels and minimized acoustic vibrations (Acoustic Privacy) and the Green Plus classification as a result of technical characteristics and features which make the yacht “eco-friendly”. Her level of self-sufficiency and her cruising stability are higher than any other motoryacht of this size, but, with a limited draught, 460Expis also able to sail along the coast with low fuel consumption. In addition, her’s length allows it to be both more agile and more maneuverable, in turn allowing quick access to confined harbours, ports and docks.

Southern Wind Shipyard

On display at the Monaco YAcht Show there will be Seatius, the brand new  SW96 that splashed in March of this year. The pens behind the SW96 miniseries are old Southern Wind friends: Farr Yacht Design did the naval architecture while the general concept was crafted by the yard, Farr Design and Nauta Design which also styled the exterior and interiors.

That mix of talents attracted Seatius’ owner who, before giving the go-ahead for his Southern Wind, visited the yard in Cape Town several times to really get to grips with its construction techniques and philosophy. He also did his sailing homework, cruising and racing various SW yachts extensively in both the Mediterranean and Caribbean. As soon as he saw the drawings for the Southern Wind 96, he was won over,” says Jim Shmicker, vice president of Farr Yacht Design.

The stand out feature across the WIDER range is the inclusion of a generous Beach Club: the WIDER 165 has taken this a step further to allow extra space which can be customized to suit a client’s needs – options available for submarine storage, dive room or sauna/spa.
The beating heart of the WIDER 165’ project is its serial hybrid propulsion system combined with a 544kWh Lithium polymer battery bank and Azimuthal pods, which guarantees hugely reduced fuel consumption and exceptionally low levels of noise and vibration.

Four inline variable speed diesel generators, controlled by the state-of-the-art WIDER power management system and the latest battery technology, serve the hotel and propulsion requirements of the vessel. The traditional engine room has been replaced by a Power Generator Room, located in the bow. This leaves the mid ship of the vessel free for larger, more comfortable guest cabins located in the most stable part of the yacht.
