At he end of September, QQ7, the central bar located right at the heart of Marina di Varazze, on the central quay, officially inaugurated the business, a few weeks after the actual opening to the public.
QQ7 is the result of a complete restyling of existing spaces, well known to the Marina’s visitors, which aimed to revisit the interiors by reinterpreting the ‘yachting style’ in a contemporary key.
QQ7 is Lounge Bar and Bistrot, a formula in which the managers’ passion for bartending is combined with the welcoming style marked by conviviality: hence a rich proposal of cocktails that sees reinterpretations of classic recipes alongside innovative creations. Themed evenings, barman shows, liquor tastings will be part of a program of events of sure appeal for all fans of the genre.
The restyling project, signed by architect Hartmut Grabowski, pays particular attention to the enhancement of details inspired by the world of modern yachting – starting from the materials – and to the fluidity of space.
A large window – which can be completely opened in the central part – and the continuous flooring in teak wood, give the possibility to perceive the internal and external environment as a single large space. The focal point of attention is the large counter, whose soft lines lead the eye to an exhibition wall.
Here, through videos, photographs, yacht models and other iconic objects, the 50-year history of one of the most prestigious nautical brands in the world is told: Azimut | Benetti.
Shapes, colors and materials are highlighted by soft and suffused lighting that enhances the minimal elegance of golden surfaces combined with white.
The offer is completed by a slender, bistro-style menu, suitable to satisfy a wide variety of tastes, in which there is no shortage of ‘fusion style’ cuisine. As regards the selection of raw materials, he pays particular attention to the sustainability of the products as well as to their processing, a concept well highlighted in the payoff “QQ7 Green Lounge”.
