The Otam 80th yacht Attitude is 80% complete. The engine room and systems are installed and the interior outfitting is progressing on schedule for a technical launch in mid-March. Following commissioning and sea trials, she will be delivered to her owner at the end of April.
The 6th hull in the Otam 80 series is utterly different from her predecessors with a bespoke layout and new styling features devised by Umberto Tagliavini in collaboration with the shipyard.
Below deck, a further novelty is the 4-cabin layout. Previous editions of the Otam 80 have had three or even two guest cabins. Attitude boasts a full-beam master stateroom, a forward VIP suite, a guest cabin with twin single beds and a fourth cabin for use by the owner’s chef.
Attitude will make her international debut at the 2020 Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
The Otam 65HT in build is 75% complete. Installation of the main engines is under way and the outfitting of the bespoke interior by Francesco Guida, inspired by the world of private jets, has begun. The technical launch is scheduled for early May and delivery to her discerning owner by the end of the month.
The result of Otam’s innovative and flexible approach to integrating its customers’ needs into one-off products, the new Otam 65HT combines iconic design and top performance with exceptional efficiency.
The Otam 65HT is designed and built for speed. Indeed, equipped with twin 2000-hp engines, she will have a top speed in excess 60 knots and a cruising speed of 50 knots.
This kind of unmatched performance required intensive research into hull design, weight distribution and build materials. To reduce weight, carbon fibre has been used extensively in the hardtop, interior structures, beach platform and deck details such as the automotive-inspired air intakes.
Fast and furious, cool and contemporary, edgy but elegant, this cutting-edge yacht sets a new benchmark in the sports yacht market.
Like Attitude, the new Otam 65HT will be premiered at the 2020 Cannes Yachting Festival.
