Here is the second instalment of interviews conducted during Milan Design Week with leading players in the outdoor world. This time it’s Cantori’s turn. (Here is the first one)
This Salone del Mobile is an important showcase for us of collaborations and innovations. Cantori stands out for its ability to interpret contemporary needs through refined and cutting-edge design: from eco-sustainability to outdoor products designed by Studio Fuksas, to the home office that can be integrated into residential contexts and into yachting thanks to the collaboration with the studio of Maurizio Manzoni, our path is enriched with new experiments. We also present the modern lines of the young designer Luca Roccadadria from Pesaro.
For over 15 years we have been collaborating with the large shipyards in the Marche region, facing continuous technical and stylistic challenges. This experience naturally led us to the creation of our outdoor collection, born from our knowledge of yachting materials and construction techniques.
Our expertise in materials such as steel, fabrics, rubber and marine wood allows us to create resistant and refined products, able to guarantee maximum comfort and durability. Today, the outdoors are no longer separate areas, but integral parts of the house, with the same attention to quality and detail and Cantori responds with furnishings capable of creating harmony between the inside and outside.
The visual integration between indoor and outdoor, therefore, is the principle that guides the design of our collections. Whether it’s the terrace of a city penthouse, the garden of a villa or a yacht, each item is designed to adapt to its surroundings.
The versatility of the materials allows each piece to be used both indoors and outdoors. We are also rooted in the local area and are committed to sustainable production, respecting the environment and the craft traditions that characterise our brand. We also fight against unbridled consumerism with resistant and durable furnishings, combining craftsmanship, innovation and respect for the environment. Because our goal is to offer beautiful, functional and sustainable furnishing solutions, in line with the needs of a modern and elegant home.
