Third appointment with Outdoor at Sea, this time it’s the turn of Cassina and its CEO: Luca Fuso. Cassina’s approach is based on our values, including excellence, tradition and innovation. Each project is the result of deep reflection on living, placing the user’s experience at the centre. It is in this spirit that participation in Milan Design Week becomes an opportunity to present our vision to an international audience. On this occasion the Cassina Store Milano will be set up according to our philosophy called ‘The Cassina Perspective’.
We will present cosy and eclectic home environments that combine products with an innovative soul with our most loved icons, both indoors and outdoors. Among the items on display, there will also be several pieces from the Outdoor Collection, from classics adapted for outdoor environments, to more recent models. Today the boundary between indoor and outdoor is very thin. There is an increasing desire to expand one’s style to outdoor environments, from the living area to the dining area. The same is true for the nautical sector where we have been very present for several years now. Technical performance always plays an important role, but today there is a greater demand for products that emphasise aesthetics and, of course, comfort.
Through our Outdoor Collection, we offer an experiential journey inspired by Mediterranean atmospheres, proposing comfortable, functional and versatile environments. The collection stands out for its fabric textures and vibrant colours. I believe this approach is quite rare in the nautical world, where Cassina can add value and qualify projects with a recognisable design of the highest quality.
