Pershing presents the Pershing GTX90, the model that expands the Sport Utility Yachts range and embodies all the characteristics that have made previous designs so successful: comfort and performance, innovation and craftsmanship, technology and the pleasure of sailing.
The Pershing GTX90 is the result of a design study that maximises both interior and exterior space, exceeding the standards of its class whilst maintaining excellent performance and seamless continuity between the different areas.
The design, which made its debut at BOOT Düsseldorf, is the result of a collaboration between Vallicelli Design and the Group’s Engineering Department. The Pershing GTX90 is built at the Ferretti Group’s Models and Moulds facility, combining advanced technologies with artisanal expertise.
In keeping with previous models, the design of the Pershing GTX90 also revolves around the concept of space, particularly evident in the sportsbridge which, with a surface area of 33 m², exceeds the average area of boats of similar size by 43 per cent. Particular attention has also been paid to the layout of the spaces, designed to offer solutions that maximise comfort and enjoyment on board.
Exterior design
The exterior design, highlighted by the classic Pershing Anniversary Silver hue of the hull, remains consistent with the stylistic language of the entire GTX series. Indeed, several distinctive features of the range return on this model too, such as the almost vertical bow and the continuous, slightly convex sheer line. These elements lend the boat’s profile a sleek elegance and a sense of lightness, whilst also expressing the sporty character that defines the GTX range.
Another feature shared by the new Pershing GTX90 with the other models in the series is the aft section of the main deck, characterised by two side terraces that can be opened. Unlike previous models, however, opening the terraces allows the maximum beam width to be positioned at the cockpit, which has a total area of 37 m². This area is completed by a spacious garage, designed to accommodate a tender and a jet ski.
Interior design and layout
The interior design and layout are characterised by a functional aesthetic and a high level of comfort, designed to enhance the on-board experience of the Pershing GTX90.
On the main deck, the indoor living area is accessed via a large five-panel door – one fixed and four opening – which creates a continuous open space between the interior and exterior. The saloon, which makes the most of the superstructure’s widebody configuration, offers generous space: on the port side, aft, there is a show kitchen enhanced by an elegant and striking bar counter, whilst on the opposite side there is a formal dining table capable of seating up to 8 guests. This area can be complemented by a practical dayhead (optional).
The lounge area is situated amidships, furnished with a large L-shaped sofa which, on request, can be replaced by two separate sofas. At the very bow of the main deck is the helm station, equipped with three comfortable seats and dual access to the side gangways leading to the bow area.
On the lower deck, the Pershing GTX90 features four cabins with four en-suite bathrooms, configured to make the best possible use of the available space. The full-beam owner’s cabin is situated amidships, whilst the VIP cabin is located at the bow. The two guest cabins complete the layout, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds.
Finally, the spacious sportsbridge is organised into three distinct areas: the sunbathing area is at the stern; a dining area, sheltered by a generously sized hardtop, is amidships; whilst the central helm station is situated at the bow.
Propulsion and technology
The Pershing GTX90 is equipped with twin MAN V12 2200 engines, each producing 2,200 mhp, which, combined with two Castoldi TurboDrive 600 HCT waterjets, enable a top speed of 35 knots and a cruising speed of 30 knots (preliminary figures). On request, it is also possible to install two Seakeeper NG18 gyroscopic stabilisers.
Designed to ensure safety and efficiency even in particularly challenging sea conditions, the Pershing GTX90 will hold CE certification in design category A.
