After the successful premiere of the WIDER 150 at the Autumn European shows, WIDER has confirmed that they will start construction of a new WIDER 125, commissioned by a Northern European client at the recent Monaco yacht show. Delivery will be in late spring of 2019.
The all-aluminium vessel, with exterior design by Fulvio De Simoni will retain the distinctive WIDER style of the W150 and the W165 as well as the same diesel electric technology.
The WIDER 125 will include a full beam master stateroom on the main deck with a large opening terrace together with owner’s study and gym (or sixth cabin, depending on personal preference. This is a unique feature for yachts of this size and will be particularly appealing should the owner decide to place on the charter market). Guests will be treated to four lavish staterooms that stretch further aft than on a traditional motor yacht of this size, well into the area usually reserved for an engine room.
A range of 2,600 nm is expected at 12 knots, increasing to 3,400 nm at the economical speed of 10 knots. The yacht has a top speed of 14 knots and can also run solely using batteries in Zero Emission Mode.
