Launched at the Gdańsk facilities, the new 29.3‑metre model marks a decisive step forward in the brand’s Eco range, confirming Sunreef’s ambition to redefine the very concept of low‑impact cruising.
Design and construction philosophy
The Sunreef 100 Eco has been conceived as a catamaran designed for extended autonomy, thanks to a naval architecture developed entirely in‑house and a GRP construction that ensures lightness, strength and generous volumes. Its proportions — nearly 30 metres in length and over 12 metres in beam — allow for particularly spacious indoor and outdoor areas, tailored to an owner who wants to experience the sea without compromise.
Among its most distinctive features is the Ocean Lounge, an aft area completely reimagined to offer direct contact with the water. A fold‑down platform and two side balconies transform the space into a true terrace over the sea, while a concealed garage accommodates two jet skis, water toys and a dive locker. The idea is to create a fluid, open environment that blends relaxation, sport and conviviality into a single space.
The interiors, fully customisable, can be fitted with recycled or responsibly sourced materials, confirming the shipyard’s commitment to reducing environmental impact throughout the production cycle. Up to 12 guests can be accommodated on board, with dedicated areas such as a spa, gym, bar and office — a clear sign of a design philosophy that sees life at sea as a natural extension of life on land.
Electric propulsion and solar technology
The true revolution of the Sunreef 100 Eco lies in its full‑electric propulsion system, powered by two 360 kWh motors and an impressive 770 kWh battery pack, engineered to deliver silence, efficiency and zero emissions while cruising. Complementing this is Sunreef’s proprietary photovoltaic system, seamlessly integrated into the hull, superstructure and bimini for a total surface area exceeding 240 m² and a clean‑energy generation capacity of up to 46 kWp.
This technology enables the catamaran to produce energy continuously, without altering the yacht’s aesthetic profile and without relying on traditional generators. The result is an ultra‑silent cruising experience, environmentally respectful and perfectly aligned with the expectations of an increasingly sustainability‑minded clientele.
