Work in progress for the new 70 meters that will be launched within the year.
The launch of Perini Navi’s new 70 meters is planned for this year. Sybaris is the name of the new ketch that carries the initials “C.227” from the shipyard in Viareggio, Tuscany. Sybaris has been designed by Perini Navi Techinical and Design in collaboration with Philippe Briand‘s studio for the naval design and PH Design studio for the interiors. Among the various features, Sybaris’ performance is expected to be truly breathtaking.
The spacious 30 meters guest area, situated on the main deck is one of the strongest elements in Sybaris and it is directly connected to the indoor lounge through a sliding glass door. Always dealing with space, it is important to highlight the large size of Sybaris’ fly, as it reaches 18 meters in length. Built entirely in aluminum, Sybaris is provided of very sophisticated equipment with carbon masts signed by Rondal (heights are respectively 72 and 62 meters), capable of carrying a total sail area of 3000 square meters. Another important technical characteristic is found in the reduction of on board vibrations as Sybaris will be the first Perini equipped with 3 Variable Speed Generators.
For the interiors, PH Design has created the interior design under the directions of the shipowner who personally oversaw the construction with the best materials, including titanium, which has been used for the ceilings so that light could be reflected in a unique manner.
