Teseo: modern tradition

With the arrival of Teseo, the offer in terms of design of the Ancona shipyard in the range of 50 meters is complete.

The latest addition, as for the previous Dislopen and Conero, bears the signature of Zuccon International Project, the affirmed studio based in Rome that has collaborated with CRN for years in the design of large yachts, ( among them 80 meters Chopi Chopi). For Teseo the choice went in the direction of a hull, which would contain the styles in vogue that characterize the explorer.

The distinctive design of the exterior lines are found in the high and pronounced bow, a decentralized superstructure fore and at aft a large space to accommodate tenders and other equipment on board. As per tradition, the hull is designed in steel while the superstructures are in aluminum. All this however was imagined to contain the displacement of Teseo within 500 GRT.

As for the layout and the arrangement of the environments on board, the design effort culminated in three different solutions. The first has four guest cabins amidships on the lower deck and the full beam shipowner cabin in the bow of the main deck. Always on the main deck at aft, the area can be freed from the tenders and toys to become a large beach area with lots of terraces on the two walls. The second solution provides a spacious living area on the main interior deck in direct communication with the cockpit outside once freed from the presence of the tender. Here there are always two cabins reserved for guests while the owner ‘s and the fourth cabin for guests are located on the lower deck. Finally the third solution has two guest cabins on the lower deck, two on the main deck, while the ship owner can enjoy the forward part of the upper deck area aft destined to a “fresh dining”. Thanks to a pair of Caterpillar C32, Teseo travels at a maximum speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots. The range is 3800 nautical miles at 11 knots, in compliance with the certification RINA and MCA.
