After two years of absence, The Foiling Awards ceremony took place at the Teatro degli Arcimboldi in Milan (Italy). Due to the stop imposed by the pandemic, took into consideration 2020 and 2021

Female sailor. Josie Gliddon. Dominatrix of the Moth World Championship in Malcesine. 

Male sailor. Tom Slingsby winner of the Moth World Championship in Malcesine and with Team Australia of the Sail GP. 

Sailing Team. Alinghi. Winner of the GC32 circuit and for the return to the America’s Cup. 

Event. 36 America’s Cup. 

Project. FlyingNikka, the first Mini Maxi foiling.

One Off Boat. SVR Lazartigue, the Ultim trimaran by François Gabart project VPLP – Mer Concept. 

Amateur Project. Minimoth of 15-year-old Finn Morris. 

Innovation. Level Foils, board, powered by a small electric motor. Sustainability. Eco Foiler, 3.80 meter foiling drift built with natural and recyclable materials. 

Production Boat. Vortex, foiling motor boat.

During the evening Luca Devoti presented his latest creation FD Switch, a single of only 30kg of weight that “flies” with only 5 knots of wind. Luca Devoti is silver medalist in Finn at the Sydney 2000 Olympics and skipper of challenger +39 at the America’s Cup in Valencia 2007,
