The Italian Sea Group has announced the launch of the M/Y Raja2, the 55-metre aluminium superyacht Admiral from the highly successful S-Force line.
The launch ceremony took place at the headquarters in Marina di Carrara, in the presence of the Owner, Authorities, the Owner’s team and the Board of The Italian Sea Group, who made the development of this innovative project possible: a 55-metre yacht with a beam of 8.60 metres and a gross tonnage of 499 GT.
Delivery is scheduled for spring this year.
‘M/Y Raya2 embodies bold and sophisticated luxury, combining fine materials and harmonious contrasts to create a unique and exclusive experience. Everything is designed to offer not only beauty, but also comfort and functionality’ – says Gianmaria Costantino, CCO of The Italian Sea Group.
Designed entirely by the Italian Sea Group’s Style Centre and managed by IYC and Med Waves Charters, the superyacht Raja2 is conceived to offer a sailing experience through innovative design and cutting-edge technology.
Exterior Design
M/Y Raya2 has elegant and powerful external lines, characterised by a sleek and dynamic profile that combines sophistication with a sporty character.
The use of large windows along the entire superstructure marries the idea, increasingly appreciated by owners, of a real connection between interior and exterior spaces, giving natural light a leading role. The sharp, modern bow expresses power and strength, while the innovative open stern offers ample space for relaxation and direct access to the water.
The sundeck and upper decks are integrated harmoniously with the profile of the yacht, and without visual interruptions, to favour a refined and contemporary aesthetic. Outside, the spaces are large and welcoming and the two decks at the stern have dining and relaxation areas. The sundeck has a Jacuzzi and several sunbathing areas. On the upper deck, guests can relax in a large circular area that can be transformed into a touch-and-go platform for the helicopter, ensuring easy access at all times. In addition, a large garage can accommodate an 8-metre tender and a variety of water toys.
Interior design and exclusive comfort
The interior of the M/Y Raja2 is a combination of bold design, maximalism and casual elegance. The overall atmosphere blends grandeur and refinement, creating a visual language with a recognisable style, in which even elements that appear to be opposites know how to coexist harmoniously, reflecting a very decisive character.
This project stands out for its uniqueness and ambition, thanks to the distinctive design that differentiates each room, but which follows the same fil rouge of unpredictability that seeks dynamism and overall liveliness.
Large marble surfaces, enriched by fascinating three-dimensional workmanship, frames and mouldings, add a touch that is both modern and classic, fitting well into the duality that characterises the entire project. The contrast between Black Marquinia marble and Calacatta marble with its golden veining emphasises this juxtaposition, as does the refined combination of Carrara white and Port Saint Laurent brown. The same principle applies to the woods, where polished Canaletto walnut contrasts with sandblasted or pickled Dark Chocolate oak; leathers in natural and delicate tones complete a strong yet soft palette that elegantly welcomes touches of bright colours such as orange and wine red.
One of the distinctive elements of the project is the extensive use of mirrored surfaces, a specific request of the owner, designed to reflect light and water, amplifying the feeling of openness to the outside panorama.
The versatile soul of this project, which leaves ample space for comfort and functionality, combines a suggestive and stimulating atmosphere that charms and relaxes, combining seductive charm with a feeling of serenity.
Technology and innovation
M/Y Raja2 is not only a style icon, but also combines high technology and performance. Propulsion is provided by two CAT C32 Acert engines, which guarantee a maximum speed of 18 knots and a cruising speed of 16.5 knots. The range is 3,500 nautical miles at a speed of 10 knots. With its 6 cabins it can accommodate up to 12 people and the 6 crew cabins can accommodate up to 11.
With Raja2, The Italian Sea Group continues to set the highest standards in the superyacht sector, demonstrating how elegance and innovation can blend perfectly.
