The Italian Sea Group opens the “Academy” Lectures will start on May 3rd, 2021

The Italian Sea Group goes on with the implementation of its training program initiatives and presents the “Academy”, in collaboration with the University of Genoa and Promostudi Foundation, which is entirely dedicated to the creation of a path of excellence for the company’s employees and for students majoring in Nautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering – Mechatronics Curriculum, and in the Master’s in Yacht Design.

The initiative will see the involvement of professors of the University of Genoa, along with industry professionals, and The Italian Sea Group management, who will form and train both employees and students through a series of courses aimed at enriching their know-how and professional skills, with a focus on the planning and production stages, as well as improving their problem-solving capabilities. 
In detail, the first courses of the Academy, which will start on May 3rd 2021, will concern:  Structuralfireprotection; Noise & vibration; Passenger yacht: MLCandSolasfurniture; 3D Planning; Quality control; Quality in the production process; Quality, aesthetics, outfitting and interiors;

Furthermore, The Italian Sea Group is proud to sustain the Promostudi Foundation from La Spezia with an economic support of €Euro 150k thousand for the next three years, while actively participating in the Scientific Committee. Promostudi, in close collaboration with the University of Genoa, manages the G. Marconi University Centre, an efficient example of a high-qualified university which has developed according to the specific vocations and economic-productive needs of the territory.
