TYKUN XII (12 m): The New Flagship Sets Course for the Monaco Yacht Show

Following its debut at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show with the TYKUN X, the Italian brand is ready to take another leap forward with the new TYKUN XII. Currently under construction, the new flagship will make its world premiere at the 2026 Monaco Yacht Show, offering more space on board, greater range, and even greater versatility.
The idea is to further evolve the supertender concept, making it even more effective both as a chase boat for superyachts and as an exclusive weekender, without compromising the DNA that made the shipyard’s first model such a success.

TYKUN XII

The TYKUN XII was also designed by Tommaso Spadolini, who developed the project based on a concept created in collaboration with engineer and nautical consultant Benedetta Iovane. Engineering, on the other hand, is handled by the MED Group, an Italian company with extensive experience in building vessels for navies, law enforcement agencies, and special forces. This expertise is reflected in a military-grade aluminum hull, designed to deliver reliability, safety, and high performance even in the most challenging sea conditions.

The hull remains entirely aluminum, but the TYKUN XII has grown in size and interior space. The result is a boat capable of exceeding 50 knots in top speed, while offering significantly greater comfort and livability on board compared to the previous model.

Two versions available

The new flagship is available in two configurations, designed to meet different usage needs. The Low Bow version features a walkaround layout with a bow cockpit that can be converted into a dining area, while the High Bow version eliminates the side passage to make room for even more spacious interior areas and a large bow sundeck.

In both versions, the helm station features a built-in bar, a large-capacity refrigerator, an air conditioning system, and—as an option—an ice maker and a cooktop. This solution transforms the cockpit into the perfect space for spending the entire day at sea.

TYKUN XII Stern

At the stern, the retractable bulwarks significantly increase the usable deck space, creating a true terrace overlooking the sea—one of the most sought-after and appreciated features on this type of boat.

Below deck, the increased space allows for various configurations: a French-style double bed, V-berths, or a convertible salon—all paired with a separate bathroom with a shower and plenty of storage space, making it ideal for a weekend aboard.

Engine and Range

The boat’s sporty character remains one of the project’s strengths. The redan hull developed by the MED Group, the raised bow profile, and the hybrid fender system have been designed to ensure safety and control even at the highest speeds. The twin outboard engine configuration is available in 400, 450, or 600 cavalli versions, allowing the boat to easily exceed 50 knots.

The range has also increased. The two fuel tanks, each with a capacity of up to 650 liters, along with the 300 liters dedicated to fresh water, allow for longer stays away from the mother ship, confirming the TYKUN XII as an ideal solution both as a luxury tender and as a high-performance dayboat or sophisticated weekender.
