Unveiled the new Mangusta GranSport 50

Officially unveiled at the Palm Beach International Boat Show, the new Mangusta GranSport 50 represents the latest evolution of the Overmarine Group’s “Sport Utility Yacht” philosophy. The project is the result of a collaboration between the shipyard’s Engineering Department, Engineer Ausonio (P.L.A.N.A. Design), and designer Alberto Mancini, with the goal of balancing adrenaline-pumping performance with the spaciousness of a large displacement vessel.

The “Half More” Innovation

At the heart of this design revolution is the concept of “half more”: a layout spanning three and a half decks that introduces, for the first time in this class, a Raised Pilot House (RPH). This raised wheelhouse frees up valuable space on the upper deck, allowing for the creation of a panoramic lounge area at the bow featuring the brand’s signature: the infinity pool. This space is extremely flexible and can be configured as a sixth panoramic cabin or a private office.

Design and Connection to the Sea

The exterior aesthetic emphasizes visual lightness thanks to “full glazing” and iconic frameless fashion plates in Grigio Europa glass. At the stern, the dominant stylistic element is the dramatic central staircase—a true stairway to the sea—connecting the cockpit to the platform, where opening side wings reveal an exclusive beach club that can be transformed into a gym or lounge on the water.

Performance and Comfort

With a full-beam Master Suite on the main deck, the yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests and 9 crew members. Equipped with two 2,600 HP MTU engines, the GranSport 50 reaches a top speed of 20 knots, ensuring a range of 4,200 nautical miles to safely tackle ocean crossings.
