Isa Yachts has presented the design for a 130’ motor catamaran penned by leading multihull specialist, Berret-Racoupeau. The Isa Zaffiro 130 marks the yard’s stylish and impactful debut in a whole new sector.
“The decision to diversify the Isa Yachts brand’s offering came from an in-depth analysis aimed at positioning ourselves at the very highest end of the motor cat market,” explained Giuseppe Palumbo, CEO of Palumbo Superyachts.
The resulting cat has three decks and a fly. However, one of its greatest strengths has to be an imposing 13.1m beam yielding generous interior volumes and also allowed the designers to craft a genuinely interesting layout.
To begin with, the full beam master suite takes up the whole forward section of the main deck, affording its lucky occupants 180-degree views. Aft of it is a 200 sqm day area with clever décor by Isabelle Racoupeau.
A further mix of staterooms (VIP and doubles) lies on the lower deck which also houses the crew quarters. The captain’s cabin, however, is on the upper deck between the wheelhouse and the aft saloon. An expansive 80 sqm fly provides a wonderfully chilled out refuge that sun worshippers will also adore.
Finally, the beach club has open-out side wings that turn it into a huge multipurpose water-skimming space. On the performance front, the Zeffiro 130 has an estimated range of around 3,700 nm and a shallow go-anywhere draft.
