Marina di Loano

In the world’s top ten

Ranked among the world’s top ten marinas a few years ago, Marina di Loano is a safe harbour thanks also to its large breakwater and is in a barycentric position with respect to some of the main yachting destinations: Sardinia, Corsica, the Balearic Islands, Tuscany. Superyachts can also take advantage of finger moorings, a bunkering pier and a helipad with direct access, as well as the Amico & Co shipyard specialising in superyacht refitting.

Marina di Loano: a true home port

Characteristics that make Marina di Loano more than a landing place in Liguria soil. It becomes the home port where to return after each cruise or where to prepare for departure. Its Yacht Club located on the Central Pier guarantees exclusive services. Starting with the guest quarters, which offer maximum comfort for a relaxing stay.

Also available to yachtsmen is the Marina Lounge, which offers guests space, services, hospitality, and comfort. It has a gym, a large glassed-in lobby overlooking the sea, a swimming pool and a solarium. Marina di Loano is also the perfect location for events and business meetings thanks to its 1,300 square metres of modular space, which is also perfect for concerts, shows and exhibitions and, why not, for exclusive private events.

Marina di Loano: exceptional management

Managing Director of Marina di Loano has been Gianluca Mazza, an executive of Gruppo Unipol, the company’s shareholder, since March 2020. He arrived in Loano just a few days before the lockdown where, thanks to the professionalism and commitment of all the staff, he managed to guarantee the necessary safety for people and boats, managing the restart of activities in compliance with the rules, thus managing to close 2020 with the company’s first budget in the black. Also in 2020, in November Marina di Loano promoted Leisure Harbor, a competition reserved for young architects and students of the faculty, with the aim of sharing with the public administration the strategic lines to find new sustainable architectural solutions for the growth of the marina.

With this activity, together with the organisation of events involving nautical-related targets and with important territorial marketing actions carried out in concert with the public administration, Marina di Loano has never stopped, consolidating its position and image in Italy and abroad as a point of reference for tourist hospitality in western Liguria. Marina di Loano obtained in 2022 its ninth Blue Flag, which is in addition to the MaRINA Excellence 24 Plus certification, the “5 Helms” and “50 Gold” from RINA.
