The 62nd Genoa Boat Show was presented today at Palazzo della Meridiana. Organised by Confindustria Nautica and its subsidiary I Saloni nautici.
Genoa International Boat Show is the most representative event of excellence in the Italian pleasure boating sector worldwide and is a reference point and a global platform for institutional, technical and market comparison for the entire sector 365 days a year. The trust of the sector’s companies is proving to be significant, with an important feedback in terms of participation requests: the 62nd edition, sold-out in terms of Italian and international exhibitor registrations already since June, confirming the authoritativeness and strength of the event, is the mirror of a market characterised by a very strong growth trend.
Renewed layout for 62nd Genoa Boat Show
The boat show presents itself with a renewed layout that is already looking ahead to the complete renovation of the eastern Waterfront, redesigned by architect Renzo Piano, which from next year will give back to the Show new docks, on-shore exhibition areas, hotels, services, and underground car parks.
Capitalising on the extraordinary editions of 2020 and 2021, and bucking the European trend, the 62nd edition presents itself with exceptional numbers.
Over 1,000 boats at 62nd Genoa Boat Show
“Over 1,000 boats will be present, 998 brands will be on display, and 168 new products will be announced by the exhibitors” – underlined Confindustria Nautica’s President, Saverio Cecchi, during the presentation conference. “The Boat Show is constantly growing, this year the exhibition spaces in the water have increased by +5.2%, and it needs the new areas of the Levante waterfront that are already under construction and that will guarantee our development over the next 10 years”.
