From Tuesday 4 April to Sunday 9 April, Pisa Orologeria is going to bring to life a memorable experience welcoming the public aboard Savannah, the 83.50 metre superyacht built by Feadship shipyard and make them explore the superb interiors designed by Cristina Gherardi Design studio through an itinerary of images and virtual reality
In conjunction with the Milano Design Week, Pisa Orologeria, in collaboration with Feadship, and Cristina Gherardi Design, is going to realise an exhibition dedicated to the interiors of the fascinating yachting world, reproducing the magnificent rooms of Savannah, the 83.50 metre megayacht built by Feadship and multi-awarded during 2016 as world’s best interior and exterior yachting design.
Savannah requested a very accurate investigation of the design and a long realisation, keeping occupied both the shipyard and the designer team for four years giving an exceptional result that the Milano Design Week public has the occasion to relish inside the welcoming Pisa Orologeria Flagship Store based in Via Verri 7, 1200 mq dedicated to haute horlogerie and since 1940 a faithful reference point for the worldwide enthusiasts.
“On the occasion of the Design Week 2017 the offer of interiors is really wide”, affirms Chiara Pisa, Managing Director of Pisa Orologeria, “therefore we have decided to take the precious occasion to welcome an exhibition dedicated to the yachting where the interior design reaches the maximum refinement and accuracy for the details, the same as into the high watchmaking”.
“Creativity and endless possibilities are showcased during the Milano Design Week. Feadship feels honoured to be part of this magical presentation” comments Farouk Nefzi, Brand & Marketing Director, Feadship.
“Thanks to Pisa Orologeria, Yacht Premiére and Feadship, we are very pleased to have the opportunity to illustrate during the Milano Design Week what we believe is a beautiful design masterpiece, as well as a very innovative motor yacht with regard to so many aspects that required the highest engineering and craftsmanship” stated Cristina Gherardi, founder Cristina Gherardi Design.
As part of this already unique exhibit, it will be possible to appreciate and see some masterpieces first-hand manufactured specifically for this occasion by Côté France, French artisans requested by worldwide renowned luxury brands for the production of interior furniture with the most authentic and stylish finishes.
To mark the historical moment, there will be showed three pearls of the English watch brand Thomas Mercer, well-known for the precisely engineered marine and table chronometers.
