Pininfarina and De Simoni Yacht Design inaugurate their first Design Boutique on the sea in the heart of Porto Lotti in La Spezia, placing themselves in the Miglio Blu, a leading reality for the nautical industry that includes the world’s greatest excellences. Pininfarina ever closer to the sea
With this new space, Pininfarina introduces for the first time a presence directly on the sea strengthening its offer of services related to the world of boating, in addition to its headquarters in Cambiano (TO) and its teams in Miami (USA) and Shanghai (China). A design boutique conceived not only to promote Pininfarina’s services but also as a meeting place with clients, potential clients and partners.
Located in Porto Lotti
Located in the Gulf of La Spezia, Porto Lotti is a reference point for shipyards and for the entire nautical sector. The design boutique strengthens the collaboration between Pininfarina and De Simoni Yacht Design, already announced at the Monaco Yacht Show last September 2022. A strategic partnership that integrates the solid skills and long experience of the Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design studio with those of Pininfarina, capable of bringing freshness and innovation thanks to experience in diverse sectors – from automotive to architecture.
Pininfarina, De Simoni and the X2 Explorer
With the opening of the Design Boutique in Porto Lotti, Pininfarina and De Simoni consolidate the collaboration that has already led to a first research project, X2 – Explorer X Experience, presented in world premiere at MYS 2022, and which will soon be followed by the first joint catamaran project, at the next Cannes Yachting Festival 2023.

Some of Pininfarina’s latest creations will be exhibited at the event and it will possible to attend a “live sketching” session with the designers of the two Partners. Finally, it will be made available the Virtual Reality, showing the interiors of some yachts recently designed by Pininfarina.
Some of Pininfarina’s long-lasting partners contributed to the setting up of the boutique. In particular, Reflex has furnished the boutique with furniture from the Pininfarina Segno Collection, an integrated system with a unique style. Corà has provided the parquet of the Miraggio Collection, which is inspired by natural decorative patterns, combining technology, nature and well-being.
