Mangusta Oceano 39, the first unit launched

The first unit of the Mangusta Oceano 39 series, the entry level of the Mangusta Oceano “displacement” line, was launched on 31 May last, in the presence of the Owner, the Mangusta team and all the workers who collaborated in its construction.  (Here all our posts about Mangusta)

Mangusta Oceano 39, three decks and large windows

“We are very proud to see the first unit of this innovative new model take to the water. The Mangusta Oceano 39 is a new three-deck vessel with large glass surfaces in which the structures have been reduced to a minimum and rafted to allow a direct connection with the sea,” says Maurizio Balducci, CEO of Overmarine Group. “Thanks to all those who contributed to the realisation of this ship, which extends the Mangusta Oceano range to which the 44 m and the 50 m already belong,” continues Balducci.

Designed by Alberto Mancini

Developed by the shipyard’s technical offices in collaboration with designer Alberto Mancini and the Verme studio for the engineering part, this tri-deck gives a unique face to the entire category: a perfect mix of design and technology.

Mangusta Oceano 39, like a villa by the sea

The Mangusta Oceano 39 presents itself as a modern seaside villa with sensational glass surfaces and spaces superior to the reference category. The main deck and upper deck salons are characterised by full-height windows that can partly be opened to create a single environment between indoor and outdoor areas.

The stern area and folding terraces give access to the beach house, creating a natural extension over the water for relaxing moments in total privacy.

The bow area offers a “classic” “Mangusta Design Feature” infinity pool located on the upper deck, with a partially glazed bottom that allows the owner’s cabin to be enveloped in reflections of water.

Customisable interior

The layout of this unit includes 4 spacious guest cabins located on the lower deck. The master suite on the lower deck has an automatic balcony that can be operated independently by the owner.

The fully customisable interiors, as on all Mangustas, were created by the shipyard’s architects who worked in close contact with the Owner through the coordination of Sales Manager Nicolò Strocco.

Mangusta Oceano 39, flying over the waves at 20 knots

The Mangusta Oceano 39 is equipped with 2 MTU 12V 2000 M86 1700 HP engines that allow a cruising speed of 12 knots and a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of use up to 2600 nautical miles, guaranteeing noise levels reduced to a minimum for total comfort, in full Mangusta tradition. A version with 2600hp engines is also planned, allowing a cruising speed of 18 knots and a maximum speed of 20 knots.

The next unit available for sale is number 3, scheduled for delivery in November 2024.
